And 3500 left early after the 4th goal went in!! If there is ONLY 10,000 there with 4000 from us it really puts it into perspective how big you are. why ? we would bring 4 k to yours and your crowd would only be 12 k max

I can't stand Leeds They're equally condescending, but at least they have some foundation and basis for being that way in terms of our relative histories. I struggle to see how the Town fans justify their perception, in terms of the last 15-20 years? You were literally one result away from being in the same league as us next season. And to have been been bankrolled in the way they have been, and need 4 attempts to get out of League One, never once finishing in the top 2, and then nearly get relegated in their first season in the Championship should be pretty embarrassing I would have thought. You couldn't turn up for a home game with a premier league side in fact neither the fans nor the team turned that day. I love the way your fans are going on about this being our cup final, I think you will find that our cup final was in February , fair enough we got turned over , but we made history nonetheless. 3 premier league sides couldn't beat us, and you could hardly say we were lucky having more than held our own in all three games and deservedly qualified from each round, we managed to back this up with another trip to wembley last month so I think you will find we have had probably 7 games bigger than this one in the last twelve months alone. It's about time you lot took your heads from your backsides, chanting songs about the 1930's etc is just laughable, at the end of the day we are pretty much in the same boat and if I'm honest I'll be pretty disappointed if we aren't in the same division next year then all this billy big bollard can't stop once and for all

Are we talking about the Bradford that have only won the second division once, the third division once and the FA cup once, even longer ago than we did? The Bradford that spunked the Premiership millions on players like Benito Carbone, resulting in two administrations?

Priceless. Nice username though - that was a classic game. 58pts for a first return to a division in 11 years is pretty good going. In the previous 2 seasons, that points total would have been a steady mid to lower finish and 16 or 18pts clear of the drop. Last season was the toughest Championship season in history in terms of staying up, that is a fact sir. What also is a fact is that your chairman said you'd massively overspent, and had it not been for the cup run you'd have been in the shit had you not been promoted, how many clubs have been in admin 3 times? In the end, despite throwing all that money at the worst professional league in England you scraped 7th, yes 7th place... Well done at Wembley but don't be trying to retaliate with 'Billy Big Bollards' either with your recent history nonsense, you've just spent 6 seasons in League 2 - we've only ever had 6 seasons in that league in 105 years. 3 of the last 4 seasons you've finished in a lower position then we EVER have in our history. Enjoy the game... But not too much. X

You're not only playing your rivals but a Championship team who have been above you for many years now, so win or lose it'll be a good day out for you. Just enjoy it, it'll be another great memory to add to all of those other great experiences you've had over the years and another newspaper clipping to add to the scrap book.

Oh i see, Leeds do it to us & they're arrogant but we do it to Sadford & its banter. You want to try & stop having double standards instead of being a prick. Show me one post from me where i have a go at Leeds for their arrogance and you'd be right to call me that. You won't find one. However you are a miserable git, and that's putting it politely. Do you know me, no, have you ever met me, no? Argumentitive, confrontational, obnoxious, rude, self opinionated, yes but miserable not a chance. I was not at my happiest for a while when my dad died that I will concede that.

I need to know cos Im going to get 4000 commemorative half city , half Town scarves made up to flog behind the away stand.

Honestly, how many would be a Valley Parade if it was the other way round, a 25k sell out? Get a grip Bradford lads and lasses, its gone to your heads already. I'm looking forward to the game, but no doubt, despite Bradford being a bigger city than Huddersfield we are better supported than you are, always have been always will be. I'm willing to bet that only during your Premiership years and aside from 87/88 when you were flying high and we had our worst season ever, have you ever had a bigger average gate than Town. You know it, I know it and everyone else knows it, in West Yorkshire the pecking order is Leeds, Town and then you lot.

It probably has over the last 7-8 years, but I doubt over a longer period that this is the case, last year yours was a respectable 15000 but that would be inflated by larger travelling support from big championship sides whilst ours as obviously been inflated by cheap tickets. Listen guys, I've no doubt we will come and have a go and what will be will be. I can't imagine we will be strengthening too much over the close season so we will be going Into the game with a side that served us well last year, whereas you may be blooding a newish team as your restructure following your flirt with relegation last term. Could be a cracking game , can the team who have been floundering In the lower reaches of league 2 for six years climb yet another mountain and beat the all conquering Huddersfield town, york shires number 1 side, in their own kennel sorry back yard. In all serious, this as the makings of a great game, and what better than a good local derby to get the year started rather than a mundane away cup game at say Walsall where you wonder just how up for it the players will be etc, and limp out of a cup In disappointing fashion.

Fair comments. The only issue is if we take the game seriously and I've no idea whether we will or not... Last season we clearly didn't with a scratch side at Preston that lost 1-0. The League Cup doesn't really have any spark anymore, and the majority of teams don't take it seriously.. That's not to detract from what you achieved last year, but the majority of sides honestly don't care about the LC and put out 2nd string sides to get beat. It's wrong in my view that they do this, but it's just modern football for you I guess. Anyway, here's a video from what happened the last time we met at this stage.

Don't get the 'No one cares about the League Cup'. Man U and Chelsea have dominated it in the last decade. We beat Wigan's reserves who hammered your lot, Arsenal played their best team, as did Villa, as did Swansea...
Good draw though, should be a good atmosphere. We won the last time we played you with the worst team we've ever had so let's hope for a repeat result.

If it was a league game (any division) it would be a big match. If it was in the FA Cup it would be a big match. It's the first round of the Capital One Cup, so it's not a big match. Sorry, I know Bradford won it 0-5 last season and have probably added a star for every corner, but the League Cup is a total irrelevance to most football clubs and their fans.

Probably doesn't matter to Town as you don't have the belief to reach the final so you give up before it starts.
