UTT The ground holds nearly 25,000. Normally first round games only attract a few thousand. We will sell out whatever we get even if it's full price. But if they charge a tenner there could be around 15,000 there.

Even if it's a tenner in the crowd will still be below 14k, it's Bradford not Arsenal!!

8,932 turned up back in 2008, it'll be somewhere around 10,000 this time.

Doesn't the fact that we'll sell less tickets for your game actually look bad on your part more than it does ours?

Stop biting to the tin pot chickens. Shithouse's from a Shit Hole. I would rather play Halifax.

I'd rather have been to the top and fallen than never been there at all. Champions 3 times mate, when exactly were you top? You certainly know about never being there. More seasons in the bottom tier than all the other divisions added together. What a sad record for a sad club. What was your favourite game out of those three seasons? Actually you've probably forgotten as you must be what 110 year old?? You're worse than bloody Liverpool fans!!

You should try a little 'believing', you might even be able to avoid relegation from League One if you do

I suspect that although you are so dismissive of our history, you realise that had your club had a similar glorious past your fan-base had the potential to be huge with the pull in area you have.
Maybe if you did have a decent history then half of your city would not support the Beeston lot.
Having said that Park Avenue always had the potential to be a far bigger club than City. Fortunately for us, and my family included, after PA's demise a lot of their fans came to us as they couldn't stomach going down Manningham Lane.
The rest of your potential support would rather watch a Kabadi tournament.
Failed days out at Wembley count for nothing in the big picture. Other than a big piss up.
I know you had a flirt with the Premier league, which almost ruined you. But do you guys actually realise how many years in your clubs history that you have even been on a par with us in league status, let alone been above us ?

Fact of the matter is that nearly going bust and out of the league and getting thrashed in a cup final isn't success. Getting thrashed in the FINAL of a MAJOR cup when your a 4th tier club is no bad thing because YOU MADE IT TO A FINAL. Getting thrashed at home to Wigan? Maybe not! Wigan won it though, so losing to a team who outclassed the second best team in English football isn't anywhere near as bad as what you make out

At last a proper derby game where the hatred will be reciprocated, not one way like the Leeds games. Mind you half the people on here remind me of Leeds fans with their arrogance of thinking we're a big club. It's called banter. You want to try it sometime instead of just being a miserable git. Oh i see, Leeds do it to us & they're arrogant but we do it to Sadford & its banter. You want to try & stop having double standards instead of being a prick.

What a w.a.n.k.y.thread! I quiet like Hudders, Shaymen too, in fact I like all Yorkshire clubs bar Leeds. You can tell the "hatred" is just not there really, I mean, I really wanted you to get relegated, but if you had, I know I'd have been sad about it. I am middle aged, Hudders were not even on my radar growing up, only for a brief period were we really "rivals", I saw plenty of games with Hudders supporting friends at Leeds Road and we all went to friday night games at The Shay too, bitterness and hatred is just not there for most and this half hearted piss poor thread clearly shows that. It's a game where the clubs can make a bit of cash, I couldn't really give a monkey's fart about the JPT.

The draw I wanted (and predicted). Should be a nice tasty affair to kick off the season. Looking forward to Hanson giving Peter Clarke the run around. Could be a real eye opener.

What's with all these Bertie Big Bollocks coming on here giving it us big one?
Promotion form League Two and a cup final humiliation doesn't warrant a successful season, they're pulling our plonkers. I don't recall us giving it the big bollocks stuff when we won the League Two final.
They've always been a small club to us, they know it, we know it, even the Leeds fans know it. Small fry.

At last....... a bit of local rivalry banter to get our teeth in to......it seems an age since we had anything to have a real pop at.......Can't wait for the fixtures to come out on Wednesday......whatever the date of the L666ds game home or away it will be something to hang on to until the start of the season.........and this thread will pretty quickly disappear in to the ether.........and rightly so as this is just chicken shit........and we haven't eaten red meat for a while now, we're obviously hungry for it......Let battle commence..........Chaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrge!!!

Oh give over, I am of that age, in fact 2 old members are parents of kids in my footie team, there is/was no hatred towards Hudders in partricular, or any team really. I am talking generally, the atmosphere from our fans at Leeds Road will be, and always has been, entirely different to what it would be, and always has been, at Elland Road. It's a derby-lite.
