Bit of a lengthy one this. The following have all been banned. One is a serial repeat offending WUM, and in fact might be all three. But say goodby to: warnockbrasil jackandjillupthehill koroma752 of 2 available admins agreed.

Had to score because we had more chances than the Crossroads Motel. Hope Hoggy doesn’t overdo it second half.

Just to add, and thanks Arty for putting this in the right section. The thread was moved, quite rightly, I think we would all agree, and I was considering Politics where it is now. It was then locked because the OP created another thread to complain. It takes time to investigate these serial WUMS, so the thread was locked to prevent a barage of moaning comments, and eventaully the OP and is other alias were banned, again. Thanks.

I’ve always thought being an admin is an admirable, but thankless task. However, I suppose there are the hand of God moments that make it worthwhile… 🤣 I’ve just looked at the naughty step log. Someone banned for trying to sell dodgy passports? 😧 yup, a scammer wanting to use us to advertise their illegal document business.

Think the admins missed a trick when they changed the word c**t to read as "card", Moss would've been far more appropriate surely Maybe but then allthefives would get offended and accuse us of libel/slander not anymore he won't

Funny title - surrounded by Giants. TThe subject of the larger teams around us (none of which I would say are particulary giants (sorry Massive) - us not really being surrounded by the Manchester teams) never really came up. Then I thought they were referring to the Giants fans - nope not that either. An odd title.

have you been in the mukaab yet? and if you have, whats it really like. Next gen or a load of old tosh It was only announced a few months ago, hasn’t even started being built yet! That building is only the center piece of a huge development of mostly housing though.. so for that reason alone it will definitely happen as there’s huge demand for it. No idea how it’ll look when finished but I’m sure they’ll go all out to make it as grand as advertised. ahhh, the way they are pushing it on US TV I thought it was up already.

I admit i've never been but as a casual visitor/tourist what is there for us, cant drink, women cant wear what they want although they can now drive cars, probabaly lots of rules and regulations whch we in the west dont know about, not saying things haven't improved but surely work is still the only reason most people would want to go there. You’re right that work is probably the main reason foreigners go, but that work is usually going into turning it into a place that will put Dubai to shame, and I’m pretty sure Dubai is quite the tourism hotspot these days Yes you can’t drink and if that’s all you want it’s probably not for you - plenty of other cheap holidays you can take for that. For tourism it depends what you want.. there’s huge cities, historical sites thousands of years old, and nature that ranges from deserts, valleys and canyons to mountains, volcanoes, and thousands of miles of Red Sea coast. The country is huge and Google maps is very deceiving, Riyadh for example is nearly 100km x 100km in size. For women, general rules and clothing are far more relaxed now yet they still generally get the preferential treatment they always did (yeah you read that right). Priority queues, private areas if they want, etc. and given traditionally most women didn’t work, most places and activities are tailored / targeted at women and kids. Again, it’s funny how the narrative is told… Honestly the best thing to do is google and do some research, or watch some recent videos on YouTube, particularly vlogs from non-Saudi tourists. have you been in the mukaab yet? and if you have, whats it really like. Next gen or a load of old tosh

With Plymouth last being in the championship back in 2010 and it being such a trek I’m guessing the majority of the 1,500+ town fans going on Sat are like myself and have never been to Home Park. Those that have been, or have contacts down there, any idea of the best pubs for away fans? It’s definitely not looking like beer garden weather unfortunately!🌪️ There are pubs near Homepark, but they are not spectacular. Pubs down in the Barbican and along the Hoe are the best. If you are driving there are some crackin real ale country style pubs just north of Plymouth

A lot of the players they've signed who are at the peak of their game are practicing Muslims either Arab or African. This is probably by design so its not as big a shock when they move there. I think they are trying to create an alternate league for the Muslim stars can go, an Islamic Super League. Although god knows why the Brazilians have all gone there, they'll have real problems. Going forward I think a lot of African and Arab players will go there instead of Europe. Brazilian wives and girlfriends who have moved over and who like to wear next to nothing will have had the shock of their lives. They won't. Because none of them who have gone there will be living in Saudi - they will all be living in Bahrain. much more western style with bars and clubs. Its why the Saudis built a bridge there, make it easier for the hypocritical wealthy elite to get to on a weekend.

Confidence. If you have a run of games against the lower teams and you capture that winning feeling it can grow into something quite tangible. Look how we went on such a run at the end of last season. Sheff Utd were quite convinced they were going to roll us over, but they didn't. Lose a few early doors and find yourself bottom of the pile, then you can stay there for quite a while. Thats my pitch anyway Fair. Although conversely if you lose against the lower teams and then have the higher ones to come, the reverse could be true. I do think there are good and bad times to play teams though. Last thing you want on opening fixture is a promoted club because they're still on a high. I don't think we could have had a worse opening fixture than the one we've got. I would much rather be away at Plymouth than away at Southampton. If you havent been down to Plymouth its a beautiful part of the country, and the Barbican is a great palce to catch a few beers. Makes a great weekend away. Quite jealous that I cannot go actually.

Might be playing catch up by then, unfortunately. Rough few games in August. Regardless of what order we play our games, we still have to play them all twice. I agree that we have (on paper) a tough start but I don't get why the order our fixtures get played in would have any bearing. If we lose to Leicester City now or in 3 months' time, what's the difference? I have no intention of ever signing up to Twatter. But it's getting to the point that those of us who think like that are being increasingly marginilised. Same with EVERYTHING seemingly going digital only. Every time I phone the bank they ask if I want to do online banking**; they seemed surprised that I actually LIKE speaking to actual people to get important shit sorted. I've lost count of the amount of times I've tried doing something using an automated service (phone or t'interweb) and they haven't had the option for what I'm seeking aid on. ** I have set up online banking, but every time I log in it asks for a code. I enter the code and it just cycles back to the homepage. Try clicking on any of the services from the homepage and it sends me another code, which I enter. Sends me back to the homepage. I've told all this to Yorkshire Bank (Virgin now) and they couldn't help, even when I went through the process while they were walking me through it on the phone. Their IT assistant couldn't help either. How about this one. BT started to charge my Mum for the internet. She doesn’t have a computer and has no clue about IT. I rang them to sort it , explaining everything. Know what they said? “Please tell your Mum we’ll confirm by email! “. You can have email on your phone though? Don't need internet for that. Unless she doesnt have a phone either...doh

Used to take youngest daughter a fair bit when she was little. Stunningly scenic 28 mile drive over Dartmoor via Two Bridges and Yelverton to Plymouth. Worth a trip out there if any fans are down for a few days pre match. Me and my lad getting train down to Exeter on Wednesday and then 3 day yomp across Dartmoor to Plymouth. Overnights at Moretonhampstead, Tavistock and then Friday and Saturday in Plymouth. Done most of my lifetimes walking in the North of England for obvious reasons but am really looking forward to this one Thats brilliant. Used to live in Plymouth and I have covered just about every inch of Dartmoor. Make sure you go via Princeton so you can drop into the Plume of Feathers for a nice cold ale.

19th for the Town (ours not yours) means you get a stay of execution for now, but what is even better is you think the Massive will go down. I don't expect all the members to be as nice to you. But good article.
