I like that shirt. I will be looking for feedback on sizes from those a little larger (older gentlemen) . Last Town shirt I bought online you had to go three or 4 sizes larger than normal. I think I can wait until the rush dies down. I buy XL, I'm 6'3" and just short of 15 stone 🤷 Splendid. Let me know when you have got one. In the meantime, could the person who has my voodoo doll please remove a little stuffing from the stomach area. |

I've always known it as the off season. I've never related the phrase to the colonies. Really? I've honestly never heard it said in relation to football. In America they say it and I've heard RL people use it but never football What would you call it then, I can't think its ever had a descriptor applied to it. All I remember is being frustrated that it seems to drag on forever - that period when there are no Town matches to look forward to. |

More importantly, why was he known as 'tug'? Known for a sly tug of the shirt? Or derived from 'tug boat' maybe? The equivalent of a water carrier, a workhorse type of player. We all know players didn't foul until the dirty foreigners muddied our beautiful game in the 30s onward. 😉 Its an old Naval expression, derived from the nickname of a former First Sea Lord (1909-11) Admiral of the Fleet Sir Arthur Kynvet Wilson, also awarded the VC when fighting with the Naval Brigade at the Battle of El Teb in 1884 in the Sudan during the Mahdi rebellion. Admiral Wilson's nickname reputedly comes from an incident when he repeatedly ordered a battleship to try and come alongside and in exasperation offered her Captain a tug to assist. To this day, if you are in the Navy and your surname is Wilson - you are called Tug - whether you like it or not |

We need to chill people, its the 6th of June. Nearly all contracted players are still under contarct until July 1st, so they can be paid while they sun themselves on exotic beaches. Although agent communication takes place, we won't miss out on anything unless we are still in this predicament in 7 weeks time (or so). I imagine Dean would agree to another (paid) temporary extension so players can be bought /sold.

Agree Westie, Ease in with games against, Buckie, Elgin, and Peterhead. Step up a level with Inverness Caley Thistle & Ross County Finish off with Aberdeen All sorted from one location. Many years QPR came up here. They rented a block on RAF Kinloss and used their facilities to train, gym,astro turf pitch etc and played a couple of friendlies against HFL teams. I want Town to play Keith. I am afraid I have a full agenda in that period, next season possibly |

I wouldn't touch her with yours. She looks like my foot after a long hike. It amazes me how women (and some men) think plastic surgery makes them look better. A pretty extreme example is Katie Price/Jordan. When she first started modelling she was stunningly beautiful with an amazing figure ** until she started with the boob jobs and fillers and facelifts. ** Her boobs (IMHO) were perfect before she started enhancing them.
