It appears to me that we are potentially in serious trouble. Surely the "shares" cannot have much value at all - if any. So regardless of how many you have, they wont generate anything, unless you can persuade a potential buyer to pay for an existing Championship club. I suggest that's not happening until we are much higher up the table. We own 40% of the entity that owns the stadium, but that company is in dire straits as well and needs 8-10 million to fix the stadium issues. Dean could, walk away and allow the club to go into administration - Potless Phil would then get nothing - those that suggest he isn't a fan might note that he hasn't done that yet. if we go down, we have nothing at all to offer a buyer with serious cash except a mountain of debt. If he walks away and the club goes into administration, he can kiss goodbye to what he's owed. Funny word owed. I am not convinced he is owed anything, if he gave the money voluntarily and did not lend the club then he is owed nothing. The strategic alliance with PH was a way of being refunded. DH has enough, I am sure, to walk away and never look back if he was that way inclined. |

Another interesting stat, so basically from what was reported as a brilliant season against what’s is being reported as a shocking season (to date) is 11 points at the same stage. 3 wins and two draws. That right there is the Championship for you. 11 points is a chasm in the Championship. I think (though haven’t checked) that we were less than 11 points from the play offs when we nearly got relegated on the final day of the 2012/13 season it was 10 points |
