Siewert clearly has no respect from the players, no command of tactics and no idea. We need to bite the bullet now to give ourselves the best chance next year.

I have to agree we were all over the shop today. Siewart is not the man.

Can anyone remember the last relegation we suffered on DATM? I expect it will get worse on here before it gets better...

Siewart may do alright but it was a massive mistake not to get Jokanovic

I said it a long time ago... due to the situation he could be under serious pressure at the end of the season. Might have been better to leave Hudson in charge and appointed him at the end of the season.
Hard for him as this squad is rank with a losing mentality. I do however question what credentials he had to get a premier league job. Concerned by team and substitute selections.

Yep. Sack him. And let’s oust Deano as well. Let’s then burn the stadium down.

A total shambles from start to finish this season. Siewert will take us down again next season.

A manager is like a player they also want to feel wanted

The problems go deeper than just the manager. The squad have no idea of how to attack as a team and are clearly lacking any confidence. Heads sank immediately after the first goal, none of them had believe that we could turn it round and that became self perpetuating.
Changing the manager again will not bring about an immediate change of fortunes.

Absolute Total f***ing nonsense. It’s not JS fault his so called big players are lazy f***ing useless arseholes. He still can’t play the way he wants because he’s been left with 1 winger after injuries. You’ll see a totally different team next season. Players will stay that will fight for JS very much the same as when DW came. Players will come in that will do the same and players will go. Bringing in JS at this point was never about pushing to stay up. It was always about bedding in. Looking at what he’s got to work with and which players will fight. He’s got his work cut out but by no means should the majority of the blame fall at his door.

I’d like to have some idea as to how we are trying to play football, because today it looked like we picked 11 players and sent them out with no direction on how to play. We’re not a possession team or a pressing team any more we just plodded about aimlessly. This is worrying.

Impatient bleeders that are jerking those knees again!
JS plays a pacy 4-3-3.
The main 2 players to utilise this are both injured - Our squad depth (not on loan) is built for a 5-4-1 formation.
At least give the fella time to shape a squad and its depth to his preferred formation before sacking him when he's been stuck with the worst squad in the division.
Talk about lashing out wildly when things are going wrong - we played 20 odd games with that formation under Wagner, it was Siewert's first FFS!

Let's make a few bob by letting it out to Leeds Utd so they can use it as a big screen location, seeing as they won't be able to get all those 15 million season ticket holders into ER next season...

Are you suggesting that anyone other than DH made this decision! You'll need a red nose and squirting flower yourself if you think Winter made the decision but hey while the toys are flying out of the pram is there anyone else to blame Winter - Siewert - have you missed the tealady? Get a fooking grip man! maybe read your posts again.

Under Wagner, despite a lack of personnel, we established a way of playing. This guy is square pegs in round holes to fit the only way he knows of playing,

He stuck Mooy (our best player by a street) our on the left wing today, while Billing and Stankovic (a centre half FFS) were plodding about in midfield. He’s not been here long and it’s not a great team to takeover but I expect him to play his best players in their best positions.

not sure he tells the players not to try and take on an opponent, or tells mounie not to make any runs or to ever try to get to the ball first..
maybe its tactical to fucking ball watch as we run towards our own goal to allow the striker to mooch in between us and tap it in..
this squad was killed long before he got here.. it was killed by risk averse, negative football with the 'excuse' running behind it 'we cant beat the money'..
why the players are a yard short in attack and the same in defence with some today not even making a challenge worth its name is down to personal pride and that is lacking and comes from yourself, not some fucker in a tracksuit..
so many poor choices made today by virtually all the team, sometimes no choice made at all and just losing the ball due to a lack of interest..
watching a town player run with the ball into a blind alley whilst no fucker at all goes to help was hard to watch.. Manager has a tough job when some of the team just dont seem to care or have too much interest anymore..
Im sure they would not take kindly to being called a lazy, useless twat in public but dont seem to mind playing like one???

It was a little strange that a premier league team appointed a manager whose only other experience of managing a first team was at the equivalent of conference level and he got sacked

I could’ve told him Billing and Zanka wouldn’t put in the necessary effort today. Presumably he’s exempt from criticism for that as well because he’s not a psychic.

Siewart may do alright but it was a massive mistake not to get Jokanovic I like some of what I've seen from Jan, but I think this may be true. However, this season was over a long long time ago, and Siewart was a long term target that we need to honour. Talk of getting rid at this stage is way premature.
