Sounds like the long term replacement for Hogg. Good luck to the lad š Bundles of energy, likes winning the ball back and likes driving forward Sounds a bit like Hogg but more like OāBrien

Not delved myself, anybody any background as to why only played around 50% of league games in each of the last three seasons?

Sounds a good player based on what Mk dons fans opinions.
Only thing I noticed was most opinions said he is a good player when fit, but does miss quite a few games due to injuries. Not looked it up myself but thought Iād post..

All the MK Dons fans say heās a quality player with loads of potential just very injury prone. Sounds like we are going to have to manage him very well to get a decent portion of games out of him.

Happy with this. Midfield looks sorted now and will still be solid if O'Brien goes. Imagine if he doesn't though! A midfield 3 of Kasumu Russell and O'Brien would be very well balanced Nowhere near sorted yet. You expecting 50+ games from 3 players? Atm Russell Hogg LOB High Kasumu Potentially LOB going. Think we need 1 maybe 2 more in that area.

He looks to have aspects of each of O'Brien and Russell's game.
Can carry the ball like O'Brien (but right-footed instead of left), can spray passes more like Russell.
Maybe even add in the tackle and desire that Hogg has shown in his decade here.

Looks like he has a lot of potential. Just down to the coaching/ sports science team to keep the lad fit

Think we need 1 maybe 2 more in that area. FWIW we played most of the first half of last season with three midfielders in the first team. Hogg, LOB, and High. Vallejo was injured for a significant amount of that time and only started 3 games. Russell wasn't in proper consideration til the new year and Eiting wasn't about til January either. I would hope and expect us to strengthen there if O'Brien does leave this window, but what I meant is that with Kasumu coming in it's not the end of the world if we sell him and don't bring another in. Aside from the ones you listed there's Holmes and Ruffels that have been played there last season, although I wouldn't expect either of them to feature there much now. There's also a midfielder called Connor Malley on trial with the B team, and the possibility of some other B teamers from last season getting involved if they don't go out on loan. Diarra, Camara, etc. I think we'll be alright.

Very promising signing . The only thing that spoilt the video for me was that lass with a face like a slapped arse donning the town merchandise at the end..

Can Corberan get the best out of players?
I would submit that last season confirms that he didnt need big money signings or big wage earners, just players who fit the style and tactics and our undoubted extra fitness and willingness to graft as a team. We have lost some players and we will replace them with similar and hope that they buy into the team ethic. The spectre of Barnsley doing remarkably and then dying on their arse is still very much recent so the manager will be very aware that just hoping to carry on as before may well not be enough. The big plus for us is that for most of the season we were undoubtedly the best and strongest team after 60 minutes in the division. We can win games in various ways and throughout the 90..

The doubterās should read his interview.
ā The deal has been on the table for a whileā
Thereās no way Carlos and his team wonāt have a competitive squad full of options by the end of the month.
