Apologies if already mentioned somewhere else, but does anyone know if Yuta's injury is serious?
He was fantastic yesterday and would be a massive miss.

The way he killed a 70 yard clearance from Nicholls was pure class, the touch dropped it to the floor like a floating feather.

He was brilliant yesterday, most of the chances we had seemed to come through Yuta. The little flick in the first half that led to the 1-2 between Wiles and Koroma where Koroma's shot was saved onto the bar, the ball through to Rudoni who crossed for Burgzorg who was denied by a great block, he won the ball back and passed to Koroma for the long range shot 2nd half, and then the assist for Burgzorg's goal. Brilliant performance, fingers crossed he's alright...

I think he’s a good enough footballer to play in midfield if we need him to.
Didn’t see what happened to him yesterday with the injury. Didn’t seem much of a tackle when he went down, their guy just looked confused.

I really like Yuta & I'd like to see him as Hoggy's back up, when Hogg is subbed. Ruffels has been terrific this season as LCB of a 3, we have Headley & Jackson to fight it out for LWB but I think Yuta's quality on the ball would improve our playing out from the back immensely. He's a different league to REG.

I think a midfield three of Hogg , Wiles and Nakayama with Rudoni in front of them and Thomas and Headley as wing backs would be interesting

One of the two forwards would have to be sacrificed if playing 3CBs and wing backs and four in midfield, unless we are going to try a sneaky 3-6-2 formation and play goalie-when 😉

Happened just in front of me; it was when their #20 clattered him from behind and the ref bottled the second yellow so didn't have to send him off. Gave him a long talking too instead!
Yuta got up, limped a bit and then seemed to run it off. A few minutes later he just sat down at the time we were making our quality substitutions!
He was excellent yesterday and just starting to come back into his own after his long lay-off. I really hope this isn't another serious injury resulting in a long time out.

Their Number 20 hadn't been booked before. Sorba got booked for picking him off the floor in the penalty incident (which I thought was a pen TBF) and Burns got booked for them for coming in and pushing Sorba. I really liked the Number 20, only a young kid on loan from Chelsea. Had got majority of a stadium and Town team out to get him and he never hid once, kept wanting the ball and was instrumental in all of their good stuff. Looks like he has a bright future, probably not with Chelsea though.

I also thought that was going to be given as a penalty and bizarre as it sounds Sorba was also very lucky not to give one away trying to pick the guy up off the floor. Anything in the box with the ball in play anywhere on the field is really stupid.

Their number 20 should have been off no doubt about it and the ref did bottle it, he was a good player and caused us problems all afternoon.

Nakayama's the best footballer we have in that half of the pitch. He's a different class to anyone else on the ball.
Hopefully his substitution is more precautionary than anything. I thought it was a needless challenge on him - the ball was long gone, so quite why number 7 felt he needed to get in tight and leave his boot in is beyond me. But Ipswich did that all afternoon. Clearly part of their game plan to unruffle and upset. And when you get away with it every single time, then you do it, don't you?

Thomas is not the most intelligent player we have had by a long shot. He shows this way too often by his temper tantrums.

The guy is a class act but Ipswich knew he had just returned from a serious injury and targeted him with a few robust tackles early on. The one that eventually got him taken off was by the guy who eventually created the equaliser. You could tell by his reaction he knew he was going to be sent off but I guess sometimes you take one for the team!

The little fucker dived twice in the box, took Pearson out late and then Yuta and still never got a single booking.

Sorba needs to learn to control himself a bit when things get heated. Sometimes the way to be the bigger man is to let things go. Perhaps Melllllloooooooow can help him out (in close season, of course)

I'm sure it'll happen but I like his pumped up on pitch behaviour when he's in good form with it, which to be fair he has been this season. When it's come down to it he's got his head down and reintegrated into the team when it seemed like there was no way back at one point Fingers crossed for Yuta.

I like the passion he shows, but at times he's a bit of a loose cannon. Needs someone with the experience and patience to show him how to channel that passion in the right way. He's his own worst enemy sometimes, there are a few around me who can't wait for a wayward cross so they can slag him off which is probably down to his attitude that rubs some up the wrong way. You're right that this is a Yuta thread, so yeah- hope his injury isn't too bad, He's different class at times.
