Absolutely flying. Much better watch than Town. Been today ....... and cant disagree. Last two games ive attended there - 22 goals! Great banter in the stands and some decent football played in poor conditions. A good few town fans there as well and most i spoke to seriously considering going there for big derby v penistone rather than JSS on boxing day.

i’m considering going on Boxing Day instead of Town.
Only reason I’m considering going to the Town match is that i’ve got a season ticket.
It’ll be up my lad which match we go to.

It’s a shame that they’re not still competing at the standard(s) they were at during Gerry Quinn’s managerial reign. I used to look forward to reading the reports in the Examiner after every match every bit as much as the Town news.

I used to look forward to reading the reports in the Examiner after every match every bit as much as the Town news. Those were the days. Some great times there. Name a better centre back pairing than Steve Codd and Reg Mellor? I’ll wait! Once played against Reg at Dalton Lions and won. Never mentioned how great I thought he was, but wish I had (the arrogance of youth).

Only interested in Town me. Couldnt give a flying ferret about anyone else.
Posts above remind of blokes I know who got married to young pretty lasses and now years later theyre bored so look for pleasure elsewhere but end up with something they think is going to be better but in reality is uglier and less interesting than what they have at home.

I'm not saying it needs to be one or the other, nothing wrong with having a bit on the side 😉

I used to look forward to reading the reports in the Examiner after every match every bit as much as the Town news. The move to Wakefield was a weird one, everyone was up in arms about MK Dongs but I don't remember much fuss about Wakefield. Maybe the few fans that showed up got dog's abuse from the likes of Burscough and Spennymoor but I don't remember hearing much about it.

A PL team will get much more exposure. Bizarre take on it.

Wonder if there will be any team rotation with this fixture list, a game every few days View AttachmentI read that Wolves manager Gary O'Neil contacted PL officials to complain about playing 3 games in six days (2 of which were at home), apparently concerned for the players wellbeing......Maybe some had to move their hairdressers appointments at short notice, fecking laughable or what?

Heads up anyone who was thinking of going to watch Emley at home in S&H cup quarter final tomorrow evening they have agreed to switch the tie to Worksop Town so it will definitely go ahead on their all weather pitch, having progressed to FA Vase 5th round on Saturday the fixtures are stacking up & they can't risk a postponement on Tuesday......Drawn at home v Wickham FC (Gateshead) in next round of FAV on 10th Feb.

Maybe not the best decision, currently 1-0 down. Least the game has gone ahead though, Liversedge vs Ossett called off. Wimps.

I get they don't have the legs or time to go for all four trophies, but that score line is ridiculous......Golcar did Emley a huge favour beating title rivals Campion last Saturday.

Games off at Golcar & Liversedge. Penistone & Brighouse away games postponed too. Probably a few players & supporters of these teams heading up to the Welfare.....Good luck to Emley, they shouldn't need it though.
