My Mum and Dad are cycling 375 miles through French France to raise money for the LGI Paediatric Unit And Martin House. The just giving link is www.justgiving.com/Julia-Greaves3/Any donation will be welcomed. I also want to say a big thank you for everyone's support 12 months ago, this thread shows that Town fans do have class and I've never forgotten. Ben.

I will be writing a small story about what happened to my son when I get the time to. It's important that we don't forget about these charities because without the money they simply cannot sustain the level of care which they provide.

I don't know you personally but you honestly are a class act Ben. I'm sure many Town fans will be willing to help you hit your new target.

I don't know you personally but you honestly are a class act Ben. I'm sure many Town fans will be willing to help you hit your new target. I think Town as a whole (fans to board) deserve a lot of credit. I was working on the NSL project at the time when my son was born. I'd met so any decent town fans in such a short space. A lot have become really close friends, lads who I still work with now on NSL/south stand. Without them, it wouldn't have been as easy. I realised how good this clubs spirit was when I had just turned up to the church on the day of my sons funeral and about 20 town fans (some I'd not even met) had turned up in a long line with town scarves and town teddy bears..... I was a tad stunned, I was even more so when a town employee turned up and a member of the board showed up (I won't name them out of respect) and it was then that I realised how great this club is. The club even sent me a letter of how sorry they were. It's the little things mate.... Makes a massive difference. This forum at times paints all town fans in a bad light, fact is, we are better than we think we are.

Somehow I have managed to miss all of this at the time. As a parent myself, it's simply unfathomable, and it's pretty awe-inspiring to see how well you appear to have coped. All I can say is all the best. (everything else I can think of sounds horrifically cliched, but I'm genuinely at a loss to know how to say how much respect I have for you...)

12 months on and such a tragedy has brought many people together as friends and Town fans and it's been a pleasure to spend many games with you since then Ben (even if you do your arms around like a traffic warden at games) and to get to know you as a friend. Your strength of character is an absolute inspiration never forget that. Little James will always be in your thoughts. He will always be blue. UTT
