Stevenage was a one off? What happened at Carlisle then? A sign of a promotion team is grabbing a result no matter how they perform, the conditions and Yeovil was a great example. We've shown we can destroy teams in this league and we've shown we can grind out the results too. I agree but the ref that night was a right W****R gave every single decision to them, and Madine got sent off and nearly head butted the ref, as a result the fa has given him an extra ban.

Doesn't Peterborough count then? No. Not a regular league game. LOL Get out clause. Look i hope you do it anyway, rather you then Nott'm Forest, never had a problem with Huddersfield one bit apart for rivalry, remember Leeds Road very well too.

Ian Hume is really over rated, not the same player after Morgans elbow.

Stevenage was a one-off, this can happen, you might lose to Walsall 5-0 on Saturday (that who you're playing?). Looking forward to Stevenage on Saturday as they are playing Sheffield's other quarter. When we get them at ours they will get the Megsons revenge lesson, thats for sure, very dirty side with horrible tactics especially at their ground. I know what you mean, we've just had a 41 off did you know that?? Doesn't Peterborough count then?

Blades fans have been saying the exact same thing about you. I'm really looking forward to the game at Hillsborough. We have Charlton and then you as our next away games which is pretty exciting. If we get a draw at Hillsborough i'll be happy. I'm not saying that we can't go there and win, I have no doubt that we can, but a draw would be a satisfactory result. Lol have they?

Get real, we did you last season, we'll do you this. The blades found out what it was like to underestimate us, feel free to follow suit Blades are thick, they thought they would win Exeter on Saturday, they are blowing hot and cold, they have major problems with goal keepers and when the Blackpool lonees go back (end of this week) they will struggle big time, they are in a false position at the moment so I take the comparison with a pinch of salt. The Wednesday however are back!

Mind you , you are already owing me a tenner Yep looking forward to collecting it on Feb 1st when Roades finally joins Leicester. No it may be closer then that at Hillsbro' maybe be 3-0. I heard you ripped Yeovil apart on Saturday too, really fearing you. * EDIT*Had enough of the old name change courtesy of galpharm, back to the original now

Last season we had Alan Irvine and a side that just could not play for him, we looked like relegation fodder too, meanwhile you was a top side looking like walking the league - neither happened. So here we both are.... please just give up now, im falling asle Nevermind you might make it this year eh? or maybe not.

Can someone post the clutching at straws picture for this lunatic. See you for another training runout at Hillsborough in December Listen, whichever way you look at it you have to admit it just all seems strange that he made the statement today, on the day it just happens to be the day he should quit. December? yeah!! hope you all come a long too, no excuses.

I still think he's going, he is suppose to be meeting the Leicester owners in London today to discuss terms etc and 300'000 compo going to Huddersfield.
Seems weird all the bookies made him favourite as they're not usually so wrong.
Finally why has he left it so late to pipe up? very very strange, I smell a rat .

Agree but they don't, they bring in all their men and it's their way not Clarks. I'd be worried if it was me, last thing you needed was this, could really derail your season. Another thing, will Clark come back for all your decent players? If he stays then all is good until you go on a bad run then all the doom and gloom merchants will be saying that he should of gone lol. Bet you've been touching yourself about this all day. Thinking it's the only chance you might have to take 2nd??!! Well dream on...the incoming manager will be told he has to use the squad he inherits...a squad which is by some distance the best in this league...I'd be afraid if I were you. With the right man in we could win this division by 15 points imo Calm down dear he hasn't left yet lol.

If Clark goes then imvho your season will be up in the air, new man comes in and he'll want to change everything.Personally can't believe he's odds on fav now but tbf he could do a job at Leicester. Why? Only a fool would change a system thats got 41 unbeaten games on the trot... Agree but they don't, they bring in all their men and it's their way not Clarks. I'd just like to say a big thank you to all that has voted for me, it very nearly brought a tear to my eye when I was finally allowed back onto the site and to see a thread about me, to also have such support from the oposition well, i'm stunned and I really mean that.
Think I upset Galpharm by my mis quote of le metro and for that i'm sorry as I know the Lee Clark issue is a very sensative one for you at the moment, chin up mucka lol.

Take a look at this;
=====================================
Sheffield Wednesday have issued a "hands off" message to a string of clubs for their highly sought after manager Gary Megson, it is said that with the Imminent departure of Lee Clark from Huddersfield Town to Leicester City the Glanford Park club look set to be the leading contender for his signature, although Portsmouth are another.
Megson later however ended speculation by saying, "I'm at the biggest club in football, I love this club and I want to steer this massive club back to the Premiership where it belongs, why would I want to go to another L1 club?"
Huddersfield now look set to turn their attentions elsewhere and after a terrific start under Clark the terriers push for promotion looks set to take a blow thanks to Clarks departure down the M1.
Clark was unable to give a comment but sources close to him have said that he was jumping for joy at this move.
Meanwhile Huddersfields Jordan Rhodes looks like he also might be heading the same direction with his boss, Leicester look set to put in a bid of over 3m for the young Scot that has been attracting attention for a host of clubs.
Lee Clark now may look at going back to Huddersfield raiding them of all their young talent.

Personally I prefer the Wendies to the Blunts, not sure if its because of Boothy, the blue and white stripes or that I worked with a bunch of Sheff. Utd fans who were dirty thieving cnuts. Good post, for me this lad needs a beer, can someone go to the bar.

I hate Sheff Wednesday more than any other team for their sheer arrogance. Fully hope and expect they will fall down the wayside as per. Give me Leeds United over this lot any day (tin hat already donned). Jesus you sure mate? Look take a break, somewhere warm perhaps, then when you think you're over it come back on the site and re read what you said.

If Leicester want him he will be off, and he'd be fairly daft not to. As much money as Deano is prepared to chuck at it im pretty sure they have more and combined with a bigger fanbase makes them a more appealing prospect. Can't see them wanting him though, it would be fairly strange going from one of the biggest names in football to Clark. Good post. Got to say this is a decent forum, lot of realistic people in here, the poster (koss?) that said, stranger things in football have happened pretty much is spot on.
One example; Big Ron, he had just achieved promotion and won the league cup with us, had the making of a really good side but he walked out on us for Aston Villa.
We did finish 3rd the following year (champions league place) in 92' but it was Big Rons side that did it.
I think Clark's already house hunting in Leicester, MON and their chairman wont get on imo, Clark looks a good bet.

So let me get this right, your chairman sells his business's for 350m and you all think you are rich, lol and you all think your richer then us but non of you know our finances now. Let me tell you a little story, once there was a chairman at a club called Sheffield United, the chairman (a life long blade) had property business's all over the world, they were rich, even got into the premiership for a year, but one day it all went pop, why? because they weren't as rich as they thought and when things got tough the chairman bottled it and went AOL. Half of you need to calm down dears, because you're getting away with yourselves lol. FAFT. The difference being our chairman is intent on making the club self sufficient and will not be going down that road. you really don't have a clue what this club is about. I see, yeah bit like John Ryan at Donny then, hmmm.

They will be as bad as L666s when they start saying it's our "Cup Final" when we play them.Yawn,Yawn.UTT. I'm a neutral when it come to you and Leeds, but how the hell can you not say it wasn't your cup final, it's probably your biggest game in football. (apart form us like) Jealousy there for sure.

How do you come to that conclusion? Well it certainly appears that way. We sold two players in the summer for fees that could well rise up to £4-5million together. That and our chairman sold his company for about £350million and has invested a decent wrack of it on players. For instance, the signing of Danny Ward, seen as a replacement for Pilkington could end up costing us up to £1million. We've also spent a fair few million on a new training complex also with long term aspirations on further improving the facilities there to rival even some Premier League sides. I will point out though - what money we actually have and what money we are spending shouldn't be used purely as cast iron evidence that someone is financially stable. e.g. Rubery. Hence the reason why I said 'appears so'. As for the Madine comment, quality player, but Rhodes is on what could be the verge of full international honours and is still a young lad. That will no doubt add a bit extra to his overall valuation. So let me get this right, your chairman sells his business's for 350m and you all think you are rich, lol and you all think your richer then us but non of you know our finances now.
