That'll be 85% of 3/8s of fuck all then in reality won't it! Around a dozen folk who can be arsed to comment from a forum with thousands of members equates to bugger-all. Look mate, whatever slant you want to put on it fact is, most people on here didn't want him.

I can see why they might be bitter. A lot more of them can remember the good times than we can, as ours were further back, and it's pretty obvious who's got the better set-up this season. I actually supported them for 4 days in 1993. Me and an American mate were on business in London, so we paid some outrageous price for two tickets and went to watch them draw with Arsenal in the FA Cup final at the large lavatory that was the old Wembley Stadium. John Harkes was one of their better players then. We watched the replay in a bar in San Francisco. Go easy on 'em. They're Yorkshire, wear blue and white and they'll probably get back up there, despite being behind us in line. Cheers pal, decent post too, tbf I wouldn't read too much into our thread as well, you will have some banter with us this season because your gonna be up there with us, hence why you are getting noticed. In all honesty I hope you go up with us, you definitely deserved it last season. Now about my name change.....

Fuck me, and I thought Leeds fans had big egos... what did we do to piss them off so much? It's what I would call "Jealousy". They aint yet lost at home this season, we had 6 points off them last season, so naturally, they're confident and bitter at the same time... Mixed with the jealousy. All together, that mix makes something called "A pack of bastards" God i got more posts then you Carlos, welcome to the site mate, how many Scunny tickets did you get then?

Personally think you can have proper crowd organisation without the need for all seater stadium myself. In the case of Hillsborough, that section of terracing was an accident waiting to happen and thered been many instances of crushes before. Its a wonder it took until 1989 for a disaster to happen at that end of the stadium. Lessons could have been learned and any necessary alterations taken to existing terracing to make them safe. Think what happened ( everyone with all seater stadiums) was the usual OTT, sledgehammer to crack a nut, response we tend to do in this country. It was that Spurs v Wolves game but I honestly don't think Hillsborough alone was the problem, there has been crushes at quite a few places and funnily enough the worst crush I've been in was Sheff United away in a pre-season friendly!! (think it was 89/90) and believe me I was very worried at the time, I also remember going to Derby Co away, again late 80's, Ipswich in 1990 where about 300 Wednesday fans had to climb over the fence because of a crush developing. What I'm saying is that it really could of happened anywhere and the fences magnified the problem a 100% because back then they kept you in. Unfortunately it happened at our place and that will live with Us and Hillsborough forever. Typical Example here,

Studying the detail of the report made me a convert to the concept of all-seater stadia and consequent proper crowd organisation, if anyone has any doubts obtain a copy and have read..... . Didn't want to keep posting on the Preston v Someone thread about the top two spots so I've decided to make a new thread about it if that OK with you lot, anyway Willis, in response to your reply, er, I really can't understand why you think Charlton are a great side , trust me, they are not and I actually don't think Chris Powell will last too, just a feeling. If you read the Charltonlife forum, they don't seem that confident. They even lost to Stevenage ;D so can't be that good. Wait a minute though............... They are top of the league you know False position, don't get me wrong they do have some decent players but I don't think they will stay up there. There will definitely be ups and downs though this season, I don't think it's gonna be as clear cut as last season.

i havent been looking at these boards for a particularly long length of time but I do find it quite strange that a sheff wed "fan" spends so much time snooping around a forum for fans of a rival team. no friends on the wendies forum? Hey.., that hurt that you know! But bigfatmonky's kind of allreet, as is Will and Joe. Only a bit of banter no harm oR hurT was aimed and the rumour was from a weeley good source. BTW, Welcome to the site Barnowl.

Agree but having just been reading what the Blackpool fans say about him there is no chance he will be going to the blades permanently You've just said that Holloway wants to do a deal? Holloway wants Quinn whether there's a deal to be done between Phillips who knows, having just read a bit more about it a Vital Blackpool, well, absolutely no chance, he's just out for a months loan, most of the Blackpool lot can't understand why he isn't playing for them now.

Think Holloway wants a swap deal with Quinn, might turn permanent in January. Both class players for League One Agree but having just been reading what the Blackpool fans say about him there is no chance he will be going to the blades permanently

I do think we will win the league, just have this feeling that when you do lose you will not win a game in ten, I can see you in a play-off final against the Blades.

And bringing supporters will bring us what? How many did you take to Stevenage, and what good did it do you? Just saying you should fill the away end with you being just 45 minutes away that is all touchy. Stevenage agghhh don't go there!
