Cartwright out - Hoggy in as a replacement anyone ? - Proper footballer who would not allow those players with a bad attititude or those not willing to give 100% for the blue and white stripes to cross the threshhold and sit and sulk and trouser a fortune for doing fook all. Hefele for me, or Mark Lillis maybe? Narcis. Best manager we ever had. Worthy as his number 2. Hefele and Hudson on the coaching staff. We would win 46 games out of 46.

A horrible thought - KN says "fuck it I didnt come here to play in this crap league - no investments from me" and worse still he pulls the plug and fooks off back to the "Land of the Free" - Administration anyone ? (yes it is possible) The exact same thought had crossed my mind. He didn’t invest to own a league 1 side. It must have occurred to him that we could go down when he bought the club, with that Warnock bloke in charge, and nowhere near safety!

Outside of the fact it’s a lower league I don’t know what would be the difference even if we were bad. In the championship for the most part we’ve done nothing, been scared of everyone and signed substandard players, played the same group of teams for years and had little success. Don’t want to go down but I don’t know what’s so good about the championship as a town fan. Higher profile, usually bigger crowds (although fans will go watch a winning side whatever division) and although we've generally struggled its only one step below the premier league.

IF we go down, then so be it. Shit happens. But when we get there can we stop accepting mediocrity, embrace getting out of it asap and above all else get the fans onside early and build a siege mentality from the start. Thats going to need some tough decisions - players leaving and arriving in numbers and rebuilding an academy where young lads get chances but have to take them to progress. For too long we've lurched along making knee jerk crisis decisions.

But he did show interest and pressed through with the purchase when relegation also looked a very real possibility last season. He was prepared for that eventuality then and you assume he will be now but, thankfully and hopefully, with some harsh lessons learned and experience gained. I'm just hoping that throwing over £4 million in the winter transfer period and finishing up in a worse league standing hasn't changed his thinking.

You're not allowed to say that, it's great fun watching us desperately trying to maintain our Championship status year in year out dontcha know. A damn site better than watching us get walloped by Hartlepool on a Tuesday night or losing at Darlington. You're just remembering the promotion season. Thanks for telling me what I remember. I enjoy seeing us win whether that be 3-0 at Palace on the opening day of the Premier League season or 6-0 ay Bury, 6-0 at Stockport, 7-1 at home to Palace etc etc. What I do know is that we haven't won very often over the last decade or so, a fact backed up by our pathetic accolade of being the side who has the worst goal difference throughout the top 4 divisions over the last 10 years. I'm bored. Said it before and got pulled up for it - I want us to stay up but couldn't care less if we go down. If it takes us 10 years to get back up then fine, there's far more important things to worry about in life.

A hundred years after winning our 1st title we could well be relegated by the team that helped us achieve it on the final day in 1924, the thought of going down is well & truly in most Town fans minds right now, but who would we rather follow us Birmingham or Wendies?......Ideal scenario would be Ipswich & Town both needing a point, at Lids expense I think we could accommodate?

I fear we could become the next ex premier league team to languish in the lower half of the pyramid for some years to come.
If I have this right, then our only out of contract players are Rhodes, Hogg, Diarra and Yuta. Our loan players will leave - Matos, Edwards and Burgzorg.
Out of those mentioned, Hogg is the only one that I could see potentially staying on board, and even then I'd hope it'd be on a limited role. Think our GK stock are okay, Nicholls may get a gig elsewhere but I could see then Maxwell and Chapman being first and second choice keepers.
Defenders, Helik will likely get a move. Spencer potentially may move. Turton and Ruffels have had long term injuries. Pearson would be alright, Lees coming to end of his career. Jackson and Headley are both rather suspect, and in all honestly, I'm not even sure they know what their best positions are. I have more faith that Headley will turn good. Baulker is made of glass.
Midfielders - Hogg is out of contract, and like Lees is at the end of his career. Rudoni may get a move, if he stays, his end product needs improving regardless. Koroma, other than Warnock, no one else seems to have got a tune out of him. Sorba may get interest, if not, I do think he will do a job for us. Kasumu can likely do a job if he stays fit, sorts out his passing game and has more end product. Wiles i think would actually be alright with a decent off season. If we can get Jones looking dangerous again, he'd be alright. I don't rate High, Austerfield, Rowe or Mahoney.
Then up top once you take Burgzorg and Rhodes out of the equation you have Healey who I think will be alright, Bojan who I'm not sure would want to stick around, but I think would do a job if he stays. Ward, whom I can't remember the last time he had a decent FULL season. Then the trio of Simpson, Harratt and Hudlin who are all better suited to League 2 or non league.
TLDR - Think we have the keepers sorted, could be somewhat okay in defense (injuries pending) but would still need investing, our midfield is in desperate need of a revamp regardless of which division we're in and strikers are a lottery, I feel our January signings still aren't really proven.
Our better players will likely leave, and the core I can see staying here as we won't find anyone who'd want to sign them!

Lincoln away live close east to get too. They’ll think they owe us one after “the offside” in playoffs

All based on the fact warnock got a tune out of all of them and was staying and there wasnt any budgetary scope to bring in better .....not because we were overjoyed with any of them. We've been conditioned into accepting we can only buy ex players/freebies and modest fee league 1 and 2 potential lads and take sone prem loans. Unless that changes we will continue to struggle.

It is going to be tough, but we need to hold onto a core of players that will be good for the league below. Healy Radulovic Rudoni Wiles Koroma Pearson Turton Spencer Balker Nicholls Of the rest, some need to be offloaded, and others I expect will be sold. Would agree on them.think rudoni will be tough to keep hold of. Might come down the lad himself and/or what his relationship is like with Andre(should he stat himself)

Or until they found out that that this was the summer transfer budget. Also doesn’t say Ward was now the best paid player at the club. Context is king. At that point everybody was expecting 3 or 4 more first team players joining. Had it been explained what Warnock had done there might have been more frustration. I like Danny Ward, I like Warnock and I like Josh Koroma. If the situation had been explained most would have felt that squad needed that money spending on a refresh. 1000 likes out of 16000 st holders is still a tiny minority
