I'm not everyone's cup of tea!
Anyway Wifi is a stadium issue - would love it in and done some work with a company in Sheffield about getting it into our stadium (they have den Leeds Arena and MEN arena) - would cost quite a bit though.
Also attended a meeting in London with FL about them contributing
Lots of questions
Should Town pay for it? KSDL pay for it? giants pay for it - all 3? Spend money on other things etc etc etc etc
I'd love it in but can't always get what I want
Difficult to answer all points on this board.
Happy to chat about it at my session at Canalside!

Ok...so no, SJ didn't get back to me.no worries...my Grandson (3 yo) couldn't push a turnstile by himself so was carried through by his Dad, no problem at all...which maybe SJ knew would happen anyway. Anyway, he had a great time...albeit mostly looking out for terry the Terrier, and wants to go again.. Oh, we took him in the Kilner Bank...but away from the noisy section...and it was totally fine... Another fan in the offing.. Strange I tweeted you about 1 30 saying just chatted to ticket office said fiver in advance but 8 on the gate and make sure you say hello to the #townfamily I also tweeted you after the game saying not a bad debut for Alfie ;-) Apologies if I got my wires crossed ! Anyway good to have Alfie supporting us - that's the important thing!

Just wanted to quickly answer a couple of commercial points on here Partners generate circa (top of my head stuff at this time of night) - circa 600k plus. V important considering the lack of commercial income from the stadium for the club on things like food and drink. I am keen to get it to 1m and an elite group of 100 partners. Every penny made goes back into the club All of my mates - I wish - I don't have that many! China - 4 businesses going out with us - all investing in the club - new venture - not sure what it will bring but if we don't try we won't know. Opportunity has presented itself this year Sorry if you don't like us promoting what we are doing commercially - it's crucial we generate income for the club. I and the commercial team are trying everything to make a difference to the club. I'd happily come across to Manchester and talk to you face to face about what we are trying to do. Alternatively my door is always open. I'll be honest - I am saddened by some of the comments.
I know that football is the most important thing and I hope we get that little bit of luck we deserve. It's going to be a bumpy ride but we need to unify behind the team and CLUB. Sean

Thought I would post to add a bit of clarity to some of the comments made
The international programme is not intended to seek inwardly investment. That's not the objective. Dean selling up or looking for investment from abroad has never been discussed and as I say nothing to do with this initiative.
Furthermore this isnt about us looking for overseas players - I'll leave that to Ross Wilson and our network of scouts.
This initiative is a further development for the Club and global markets is something we cant ignore. In fact many of our partners, sponsors (and potential partners) are moving into foreign markets. What's more I have seen over the past few years how the Football League are selling (and continue to do so) the TV rights for matches oversees - we need to look at the oportunities. If we choose to ignore them we may miss a trick - something I am not prepared for Town to miss.
Our initiative is going to be different to other Football Club models too. We are not aiming to sell shirts or simply go somewhere to 'steal' fans from local clubs.
This initiative in the early stages is about 1, taking Huddersfield Town (and Huddersfield!!) as a brand around the world - building its awareness 2, sharing valuable knowledge with like-minded clubs and building relations - 'doing the right thing' 3, helping our partners forge links internationally and using football and our brand as a vehicle to do so - vital for our local economy. 4, looking to generate new revenue streams
Whilst this is very much the early days of 'International Development' it has taking circa 18 months to develop our strategy. Over the next few weeks you should also start to see bit of news around this area of the business.
I hope that sheds a bit more light on what we are up to.
As always, thanks for your support and here's to 3 pts today
Sean
