Possibly drop them a line explaining the importance of keeping the commentary?

Thanks for your recent comments re some of the activty around the club over the past few games.
I just wanted to respond to a few...
Big Screen. We are still learning on this equipment but are slowly getting there. For us to undertake replays there is a considerable expense, so for this season sadly it will be unlikely (but when in the Championship....!).
As for scores updates during the match - we run the screen from remote access and without going into too much technical detail it is difficult for us to undertake this, however our media team are currently investigating if there is a way to do this.
As for Sky Sports broadcasting at half time - again we are looking into this possibility but there may be some broadcast and technical issues which need clarification.
We feel that showing the game is our best option at the moment (with the resources that we have) but as always we are continue to look at how we can improve things.
Matchday announcer - comments noted - we will have an internal discussion.
Half time ents - sadly the insurer stipulated from the centre circle (not much we could do) but Kia (Longley Park) and ourselves are disscussing how this could be improved. MK Dons - activity should be a bit more easier to win something (watch the web next week)
PA system - was boosted for Stockport (worked well) although seemed ok last night without additional speakers? But are continuing to look at this...
Catering - seems to be improving - still some work to do with EMC - but on right tracks
First Bus - some teething probs - but am sure we can over come these
Prog - thanks for your comments - sales seem to be on the increase
Retail units - seem to be well recieved - please continue to support them.
Hope that helps
Onwards, upwards and always forwards!
Regards
Sean

Original plan was to play first half in stripes then launch the gold kit by playing in it second half
But the best laid plans...
1, We managed to get the gold kit delivered two months early so wanted to start selling it
2, Arsenal asked if they can play in their away kit on Weds - which I think is gold?

Just a bit of feedback from some of the comments
1, PA Announcer. Please give him a bit of time - he has lots of personality and it will come through. He was a bit nervous on Sat - but we wanted to keep things simple to iron out some of the glitches. Weds will be another test so lets see how it goes.
There will however be a stand in on the Stockport and Bradford games
2, Nets - new ones due for Stockport game - blue and white stripes. Centenary corner flags too.
3, Germany - like the idea - but tends to be the Manager who dictates where we go.
Cheers

Andy
The delay is the response was that I was seeking info from our ticket office team. Which I have now received and sent a reply to you.
Can I suggest we meet the next time you are in Huddersfield and we can discuss the issue?

Its all linked to the FLi agreement that means we are unable to run a TV channel outside of the website. But I have and am continuing to try and push boundaries with FLi so we can do this. It a long story and can explain to the HTSA at next meeting.
As for Leeds they are not part of the FLi agreement so have got the ability to do.
The other question is the commercial viability of our Tv channel at the moment - and am still investigating that one
Finally technology changes almost daily so am concious that we don't get tied into something that can be out of date quickly
Cheers

It has been very busy at the stadium of late so apologies for not posting regularly. However I wanted to address three issues that have caused some debate and put across the Club's perspective.
Firstly the PA system. With new music planned for the season combined with the new big screen has prompted us to look into the PA system further. I had a meeting today with some of the parties concerned and posed a number of questions. In short the official site will carry a story on it towards the end of next week, but we will be getting some technicians in.
Secondly the away schemes. And this is a response to Andy also (and have only received one email?). We have asked for input from supporters and a lot of suggestions have been received (thanks for those). We are considering them but this is a difficult one as it will be difficult to please everyone all of the time and at some point we will need to make an arbitrary decision. It would be difficult to manage too many levels but as mentioned we are constantly looking at the scheme and are continually reviewing it. Also to Andy, in response to your email I am gathering information from relevant departments and will respond tomorrow.
Thirdly, the offer on tomorrow. I understand some of the comments made by supporters. However on this occasion (and there will be times when opinions differ), as we know we are witnessing a heightened interest in the club particularly from new and potentially new supporters. Consequently we want to lock them into the club and one of the best ways to do this is via the BWF (which of course supports our Academy). We also must at each opportunity try and continue to raise income for the club and try not to continue to call on existing supporters. As mentioned we are keen to lock new ones in. The offer which runs for three hours only tomorrow night is hoped to try and get more joining the BWF (and of course enjoy the benefits that that clubs brings)
I appreciate this may be cold comfort for the BWF supporters who have been members for years. I will say that the comments made have prompted us to look into the 'length of service' argument and that is something I will discuss with the lotteries team. I will say that we will continue to look at offers that will attract supporters to the initiatives we run. Not always will supporters agree with them but one thing is certain this is a new Huddersfield Town and with a fair wind these will be exciting times for all.
Sadly now until the season starts my time is very limited. However rest assured I am endeavouring to keep supporters posted on developments via the website and regular meetings with the HTSA (Marcus Middleton).
Again these are exciting times. Onwards, upwards and always forwards
Cheers

Just so you are aware - Town get all profits from merchandise sales related to their products. Giants the same.

I have recieved a few emails and saw the comment below about ticket allocation for away games.
Sue B is on holiday at the moment - but on her return will be sitting down and trying to work something out and will publicise via website and local press.
Finally please make sure you pick up your sticker or if you can't get to the stadium drop us a line on info@htafc.com with your address and we'll post them out. We are very keen to get thousand of cars around the UK promoting Town.

This is just a quick message to Dell 12
Landunnsbarber
and captainslapper
Thanks for your support and contribution to the scheme recently managed by Belfasttownfan.
Your contribution is a fantastic gesture and appreciated by the Club. What's more I think it is a great reflection of the type of supporters we have.
I am sure that your collective support will not only provide a group of children with some happy memories but also give them a club to support for the rest of their lives.
Thanks again and here's to a great season.
To all the other people that have contributed, I have sent you an email or letter that should come through tomorrow or in the next few days respectively (its just the above three that I don't have and this was the best way to get a message to them).
Once again - thanks for your support.
Cheers

Dear all
Thanks for the emails on Halifax Town. Like most I am sorry to see the Shaymen in trouble especially as I don't live too far away from their stadium.
I will certainly pass on your sentiments/comments to all concerned at Town. To be honest however I am not sure if we can do anything as pre season fixtures are now planned - but as mentioned I will circulate.
On a positive side I am aware of a couple of businessmen who may be interested in purchasing a club like Halifax - It may be a long shot but I will give them a call next week. As I say a very long shot - but will try for them.
Also to keep you posted we are advertising our season ticket offer in the Halifax Courier and Brighouse Echo next week. Please note this has been booked for a while and in NO way is it intended to be insensitive to Halifax. We have a considerable support from Brighouse and Halifax (not quite as big as Wakey) but we do have a fairly big support from these areas. As I said this is not on the back of the news from Halifax Town - this is something that was planned some time ago to try and spread the Centenary offer to strategic areas.
Once again thanks for your comments and within reason I will try and help our neighbours.
Regards
Sean

Thanks for the emails over the weekend. Greatly appreciated.
Thanks also to FFA and others for offering to help with distribution of 'Town Talks' - application forms are on the back of the edition. Superb idea and best way to get the message across
The key is keeping the profile high - which we will naturally try and do through all affordable channels but all help appreciated. Please download the poster and put around workplaces, pubs etc - give to partners, friends etc to do the same
Once again thanks for your continued support.
Cheers

Hi
I know it was discussed at the board meeting. I understand a reply is being put together.
There are a couple of questions in there that are relevant to myself and am happy to meet to specifically discuss those if needs be?

Have listened... may not get it right first time but we are having a go at mixing it up tomorrow.
Hope music catches on - not expecting immmediate success but worth a go

More importantly very saddened to hear about Mrs Hargreaves. I had the pleasure of meeting her and it is definatley a sad loss to the Club.

Noted your comments on South Stand. Clearly complicated issue will try and look into and feedback through programme in future weeks.
But for now thanks for the support going over tomorrow. The whole club appreciates it... no spin, no bull..truth!
I for one am really looking forward to it and I am certain we will raise the roof at Boundary Park.
Fingers crossed for a great result.
Thanks again and sing loud and proud.

Dear all
I have read the thread and will try to answer as best I can.
My remit is the commercial side of the club and whilst we have made some advances there is still some way to go. What's more, I and the team we have will be doing everything within my/our capabilities to ensure that commericially we are on the right path. That includes eveything from major sponsorships to Fans of the Future.
Sadly timing of these initiatives can't be dictated to by results - they are often dictated to by sponsors, budgets etc. I particularly felt the template for the Gillingham game (first game of Centenary year plus six sponsors backing the campaign) was perfect for us to kick start our campaign to rebuild supporters numbers. All of this has taken some time to put together and was planned at the end of November. Obviously beating Birmingham was a major boost for all and the timing to some degree could not have been better - beating a Prem club! I hasten to add however the Gillingham offer was planned early and was all about it being the first game of the Centenary Year. Sadly it didn't work out for us.
And like you we were all gutted that we lost on Saturday. However as promotions go we can't rely on anticipating results we have to go with what timings dictate to us.
As for The Zone, this is not a drain on the club in fact just the opposite and gives us the opportunity to build a fan base. It is difficult to go into detail on here about changing structures of Football In The Community and the Football League, but The Zone is a pioneering venture that can only go to benefit Town and Giants.
As we all know the key product in the equation is what goes on the pitch. My jurisdiction ends there but I do believe that as a club we are trying to do everything we can to make it happen for us all. Like you all I have opinions what I believe is right or wrong - I can only express those opinions.
As for the atmosphere - I thought for Birmingham and leading up to half time v Gillingham it was excellent. I am however looking to work with a number of parties on this to see how we can improve it. Again linked to success this will be accelerated.
I know that may not answer all your questions but I hope goes someway to demonstrate that I always have an open door policy and if there is anything I can do to assist the club and its supporters achieve is aspirations - then that's what I'll do
Sean
