Just a quick one They are selling fast but certainly not completely sold out. I understand that we had sold out in the stadium shop but have now got some in from the town shop to cover both stores. The orginal stock should have seen us through to November, but with the sales at the moment means we have brought the supply forward to September. I can't guarantee we won't sell out before Sept so would advise to buy your shirts while you can!!! As for sponsors, they are not on the shirts but can be applied if requested. In other words they are transfers. Hope that helps! Sean

Dear all
I have had a very lengthy chat with Mitre this morning regarding the sponsors logo and it appears that we have got to the bottom of the issue. There are however also double/triple checking everything as we speak and it is hoped within the next 24 hours I will be able to make an official announcement.
However, in the interim it appears that a small number (approx 200) shirts have had double or treble sponsors logos applied which is causing the top logo to bubble or crack. Ones with single logos applied are ok.
As mentioned to Mitre this is totally unsatisfactory and they are, as indicated further looking into the issue and will get back to me.
For our supporters, Mitre have apologised for the inconvenience for those who have had to bring the shirts back and I would add if any further supporters are experiencing the problem our retail staff will be able to replace the shirt with a correct one.
As mentioned as soon as I have heard form Mitre within the next 24 hours I will publish a statement on the site.
Regards
Sean

All feedback welcome and there will always be difference of opinion.
It is this feedback including the wider audience that allows us to continue to progress the Club further.
Not everyone agrees with decisions made but is comments are always considered

DATMers
There has been a number of comments and we continue to receive emails about the FM Lower next season.
Consequently I wanted to get across the message that The FM Lower will be very much a family area and shouldn't be seen as a low cost option. The Club will focus on building families for this particular area.
Entertainment around the stand will focus on families and family values - as such we are encouraging our fans to respect the family area and everything that goes with this as we aim to attract children to it.
Additionally we will look to retain some of the seats for ongoing promotions with schools , fans of the future etc.
Also please be aware that transfers to the Pink Link Stand will not be cheap from the stand.

Sean

Dear all
Thanks for your response and feedback re next seasons, season ticket prices.
We have had a number of questions re the Pink Link Stand.
For the avoidance of doubt I wanted to post to clarify the situation.
We are finalising the possibility of passes for the Pink Link stand for certain games next season. As part of this we are also finalising the possibility of a pass that season ticket holders could buy in advance - thereby allowing access and not having to worry on a match by match basis. The cost season ticket holders purchasing this pass could be anything from £20 upwards for the season depending on the stand you have purchased your season ticket. So for example if you bought one in the Antich Stand a pass for the Pink Link for the season may cost £20. Other parts of the ground may be more or less. This detail is currently being confirmed and envisaged to be launched shortly after the fixtures for next season have been confirmed as are match day prices.
Hope this clarifies the situation and thanks for your continued support.
Regards
Sean

Dear all
Following a meeting last week with HTSA (Mids) and agreement that we would allow the Hargreaves family to decide on the trophy, I have now had a converstaion with the family and a follow up call with Mids.
It has been agreed, and I would like to emphasise it was a family decision, which we totally respect, to present the award at both events. I have also asked if they would come and present the award which they have accepted.
As for voting for the award, again I have agreed with the family and HTSA (Mids) that we would open up voting for the award via as many channels as we can giving every supporter the opportunity to vote including the website.
On a further note I have offered a couple of suggestions to the HTSA with regards to assisting with the HTSA awards which I understand they are currently discussing.
Regards
Sean

Good point
The awards represent an opportunity for the Club to generate income. We had hoped that we could get big numbers in so that the cost per head was around the £20 - £25 mark, but sadly just can't do that.
As discussed in meetings with HTSA we want to run a ceremony that can attract revenue to the club. Our roads have led us to the stadium for circa 350 people. But as always I am happy to help with a HTSA/DATM event with proceeds going to the supporters. I do think there is room for both. From our perspective due to all the planning we need to crack on and get things in place. Including sponsorships etc

Agree - feel as if we have upset the family - certainly not intended to do this. In fact we wanted the opposite. We want it to be THE award for years to come and in doing this ceremony I had hoped that this would go some way to securing that.
As for HTSA/DATM awards- happy to discuss with Mids tomorrow

Dear all
I have read some of the comments and had a couple of lengthy conversations with Marcus.
Firstly I have arranged to meet with Marcus tomorrow and discuss this in greater detail.
In the meantime I wanted to come on here and defend our case.
Firstly this is in no way a case of a 'corporate' conspiracy. As Marcus will vouch for us, the Club have been looking for a venue for the past 6 months that could hold over 500 to 1000 supporters. We have investigated all avenues including marquees on the pitch etc. However each time we have hit a brick wall with the costs. I remain open that if someone can help us find a venue that can attract the numbers that can help us get the costs down that can make it more affordable then I will gladly and openly listen and if needs be revisit or move the awards ceremony. Again I would hope Marcus can vouch for the desire expressed by the Club to try and achieve this.
We have looked at our costs and sadly based on the numbers it is hard for us to do anything on the price. The team have equally looked at other venues that can hold similar numbers in the hope we can get the costs down. Again on each occasion we have hit a brick wall due to either the venue being too small or in some cases already booked.
As for the Hargreaves award. Then I can only apologise. There is no agenda here. The Club felt that it was doing the right thing by making it the ultimate accolade and continuing the growing relationship that has been established between HTSA and the Club. We felt that by making this award the top award then it kept the tradition going. I am more than happy to take this out of the ceremony if the family or HTSA wish. Equally as I have explained to Marcus this evening I am happy to help with an HTSA ceremony as per previous years - either before the event at the stadium or as explained in an earlier meeting to hold something specific purely for the HTSA. I will naturally discuss this in greater detail with Marcus tomorrow. One suggestion is to hand over the trophy during the last game, in so doing any impact on the evening will be lost, but the supporters at the ground will of course know before the ceremony. Furthermore if that by gaining sponsorship to this award offends then I am happy to stop this
As for the financial aspect, then we have to generate revenue for the club. As we all know there has been considerable investment into the club and we have to aim for financial stability. So we as an off the field team have a duty to look at all avenues. Again I felt I was acting in the interest of the Club (in association with HTSA) on this one. This financial impact is all the more greater with the continuing recession.
Finally, as I would hope that anyone who has any dealing with myself will realise that what I am trying to do is for the benefit of the club taking into consideration our supporters. Naturally along the way there are to be some disagreements, but at the end of it, I want us to become a stronger organisation and one that all of us can be proud of.

now a precedence has been set - there is the possibility of us playing in the pink kits (subject to FL approval)
Simple question however would you want us to play in the kit for a one off game?
Just so you are aware - I am working on something for next season

Dear all
I have put a statement on the official site. However I did want to put some info on here.
Casino Red have suspended trading of the land based business (I have spoken to the board of the company today and understand that they will be issuing a statement next week). The dot com side of the business is still operational and it is business as usual. I am saddened by the news of the suspension particularly those people who jobs are at stake in a difficult climate and the run up to christmas.
Casino Red. com will remain on the shirts. This is not like the XL situation at West Ham. I will also stress that monies have been paid for the shirt sponsorship. I and the club have offered our assistance to Casino Red in this difficult time and of course hope they come through this period stronger. I will also like to add that the relationship we have had from the company and continue to have is first class. The Directors of the business are also fully behind Town and in the period of their sponsorship have become close friends and supporters to the Club.
As for speculation about other sponsors, then its just speculation. The logo will remain on the shirts for this season and we will continue to work with Casino Red. As for future seasons negotiations are underway which can take some considerable time.
I think that about covers it. Naturally if there are any further developments we will bring you the news first. I am hoping to meet with them next week. I of course urge you to support our partners and advertisers at the club where possible.
I would also like to take this opportunity to say thanks for the hospitality shown at today's North West HTSA meeting. I hope that, like other of our supporters groups, flourish. With support from the club I am sure they will.
Finally - fantastic result today. Here's to Tuesday night - persuade those season ticket holders who are staying away to come, I am sure with increased support the good run can continue. If possible get behind the goals and build on the atmosphere made at Yeovil.
Have a great weekend
Sean

This one didn't work. Maybe timing wasn't too good either.
I do however think its a possibility for the future.
Worth a go - but back to drawing board.
I did think the air cannon worked well though?

Just for clariity, when I arrived at work yesterday there were a group of about 10 supporters waiting in the cold.
Having dropped off some stuff in my office, I then thought it polite to go and have a quick chat with them whilst they waited for the ticket office to open (and particularly as they had made some comments to me as I passed them on the way in!).
We discussed a lot of things including, Saturday's performance, how things were going, the south stand and had a good bit of banter. In no way was this an official statement, just purely a conversation with our supporters to see what the mood is at the minute.
Apologies if I have caused any concern. This was simply talking to our supporters.
Here's to three points to tonight.

Dear all
Firstly thanks to all of the supporters that purchased the pink shirts and consequently contributed to the local charity. Apologies also to those supporters who missed out... which brings me on to the posting.
The pink shirts were an idea we had at the begining of the season and were unsure of the popularity and response we would get when we eventually brought them out (3 months to produce). Having put them on sale last week, to be honest, we were all taken aback by how quickly they sold (less than 7 hours to sell out).
However since they have sold out we have had a number of comments and emails for people wanting to get their hands on them. As this was a limited edition (only 88 produced - due to the cloth ordered) we are faced with a bit of a dilema and I am keen for some supporter feedback.
On one hand we want to keep this a limited edition and not 'overdo' the pink shirts and of course respect the supporters that have bought them. On the other hand because of the response a local charity is arguably missing out on us producing another limited run.
Should we undertake another run - we would look to place a pre order system in place and they would not be availble till end of Jan (I guess in time for Valentines Day).
In order for us to proceed I would welcome some comments.
Cheers
Sean

Had two emails over the bank holiday re stewarding.
Have read the posts and comments. I am meeting Mids pretty soon to discuss it further. Then will look into it.
FAO Mich - it's not a big wage! It's not going to be rosy all the time. It's not purely my job (happy to tell you what that is if you like?) - we don't have a PR manager. It's not propaganda just wanting to try and move the club forward and be as successful as possible.
The club was heavily critisised for lack of communication. I am a believer in listening and working with supporters (corporate or individual)
Opinions will differ.
Regards
Sean
