We've not spent that much considering other sides like wolves villa and Derby...We've just spent wisely. You sound like a right bitter person, wagner has done well for you and imo you have to be under pressure to take this once in a lifetime opportunity for Huddersfield to go up because if you don't he will be gone and so will all your loans. If we don't make it we'll just have another pop at it . It's exciting!! I just don't like your lot one bit and I agree I am bitter about your Club to the point I won't go near the place. The never ending key decisions you get reffing wise against us only adds to that. Pressure?, us, we have overachieved. This is a bonus that we have got a pop at it. A bonus. Where as for you, there is expectation. All that money spent to get promotion and anything less is failure. And we haven't gone out and bought every Striker that comes on the market. Your strikers alone will earn more than our entire first Team squad. You have gambled to get promoted an expensive gamble at that. It might pay off for you. I personallly though like Clubs who have been shrewd to get success. It's a far greater achievement than buying it. Like i said for a so called top end side in this league we've not spent much really. Oh and that old chestnut with the refs...everyone has poor refs it seems. You've got a lot riding on this because should you fail wagner will go along with half your squad. Crossroads. Should we fail...we go again just like last season.

Hope they dock you points for resting your first team today, utterly disgraceful. Stop chucking the teddy out mate . Your favourites anyway with all the free weeks you've had .

You've rested all your players for 2 to 3 weeks now . We've only had chance to rest some today. We've not had a great season really but have found some form in the last 6 games to get into the play offs. I saw that neil warnock was telling wagner how to beat us today yet he's not achieved it this season ? We are the underdogs imo. Only 2k coming to Hillsborough means we can help you in the away end. You have to do it this season because next season all your players will be off so the pressure is on you guys dispite wagner saying we have to go up this year?...actually David..ER we don't, we have a top manager and top chairman who knows what they are doing. What will be will be . You've rested players? That's illegal. Hope you go bust. We've rested the full first team but no other results was riding on ours hense why everyone else looked down on you lot for doing it ...your choice though .

All I want is a bit of right reffing wise against this lot, then we may just have a chance. If it ain't us, I hope it's Fulham that go up, the best side I have seen this season. Wednesday are like Derby, throwing money (and shitloads of it at that) at trying to get out of the division. For the good of football, Clubs like this need to not succeed. Proper Clubs like Brighton, I am pleased for. We've not spent that much considering other sides like wolves villa and Derby...We've just spent wisely. When you see what Wednesday fans are paying to watch their team, compared to what we're paying to watch Town, I know who I'd rather support and it isn't Wednesday. Going on that logic you could become perhaps a Bradford fan next season maybe if they play decent football and the prices are lower then at yours ? Rent a fan ....not bad idea for clubs that !

So the WUM's are back... Best we let this thread die a death & move on to next Sat folks. 46 games will define the season for Town, Wed and all the other clubs. Some clubs will get to see promotion or make the play-offs on merit, others with a bit of luck... I could have tried to be classy & put some measured response to the WUM's, but you might as well bang your head against the wall. So instead I'll just say go and f*ck yourselves and hope you fail in the last half of the season... To the sensible Wed fans on here - thanks for the banter, think we'll both still be thereabouts come May but it's a league of fine margins, so consistency is key. I'm glad as a Town fan that we do now have some consistency and regardless of what happens this season I think we can establish ourselves as a top 30 club for the foreseeable future... I'm glad that our expectation levels aren't as great as yours seem to be, but to be fair you're a big city club & like Leeds it must grate on you to be out of the limelight for so long... As the money gets ever more dafter I actually think it adds to the challenge for clubs in your position, because there will be some Wednesday-ites who've dropped away from attending after a few yrs in the doldrums. Winning fans like that back takes effort, we're doing it through ticket incentives, a feel-good factor in the club, but as you can see from being on here, the honeymoon period won't last forever... If we both fail this yr, it would be nice to see the Blades up in the Championship next yr, some nice tasty games to look forward to, especially if you add in the CoE just down the road from us... On to the next 3 games - 3 away for you, 3 home for us. Both of us up against Brighton in those games as well, so we could do each other a favour in those games. Long season ahead... Good post mate ;-)

Once we changed our tactics and subs second half you couldn't cope with us. Also I didn't hear any foul cries in the build up to the Wallace goal...you've all saw something that looks worse on the box after and latched onto that as an excuse. Carlos 4 wagner 0 It was a foul, it was clear at the time, I haven't seen any replays. Second half was more even, after you couldn't get the ball off us first half. You resorted to long balls as we kept taking the ball off you in first half. You then score a long shot, but we looked comfortable. After the sending off, and when we put two CBS up front, you had more chances. Not surprising really. As I say, I'd take our manager, style and team over yours any day. First half we were poor to tell you the truth we've not had a particular great season at home like we had last season but even with our piss poor effort in the first half Westwood hardly had f all to do , it's not about having possession either because some teams (like us) will be happy to let you have it without hurting us. Second half we changed it and it worked and won yet again.

Watch that game again mate (Huddersfield v Wednesday at yours) you never battered us pal we just knew your tactics and stopped you playing and comfortabley dealt with you on the day . Also if you raise your hands in the box and you touch the ball you risk it being a penalty ...get over it lad. Our 'tactics' being, playing better football than you? What a lot of passes ? Clue is this ...you have to score goals and you got ermmm zero. Let's see how you lot get on against some big sides coming up before you get too carried away eh ?

If you want to call keeping possession bettering us then so be it ...we stood off you and let you however we were lacklustre in the first half. Second half we upped it a gear and got into our stride and when that happened you did not have a clue how to cope and we completely gave you a footballing lesson...btw def red card, how many of your own players were protesting ? A footballing lesson I've never read such bollocks in my life. You were lucky and we had an off day. Spanking a worldy in and scoring against 10 men is not a footballing lesson. Once we changed our tactics and subs second half you couldn't cope with us. Was it bollocks a red, it was barely a yellow, we absolutely battered you first half it looked like Prem versus League 2. Yes that's 4 times Carvahal and the referee have done a job on us despite us being better than you for large parts. Your luck against us will run out soon. I agree having seen the sending off again that it was a yellow at worst but this 'we battered you' bollocks is ridiculous. If you're saying that, I'd have to question if you were there. We were the better team in the first half, had a lot of the ball and put some decent moves together at times but there was very little end product. The Lowe free kick and the header in the first minute were our best chances. Second half Wednesday changed their tactics and snuffed us out. Seems to me sometimes we don't really have much of 'plan b' when teams snuff us out. Aside from shoving the centre backs up front. Good post this, obviously you went .

Wednesday lacked any creativity in the first half and Huddersfield had plenty of the ball ...but we let you. Carlos changes his tactics in the second and you simply couldn't handle us...it became after of attacks. You do have lots of possession but you didn't hurt us...and that's what you have to do as we were patient and pounced in the second half. Twice now this season and twice last Carlos as outwitted wagners tactics and it's nothing about luck...the red card was 100 per cent red even your manager was shaking his head at his own player going off too . Think you might scrape it in the top six ...gunna be interesting with Leeds too . For what it's worth i thought you were the better side in the first half without causing too many problems for us. We stepped it up in the second half and played with more tempo. The ref could have given a foul in the build up to the first goal but I felt both players were at it and there was no complaints from your players. The red card was a very rash challenge from your player and you can't go flying in like that now. Not sure what your manager was watching after hearing him say the second was off side. You had 2 players closer to the net than Forestieri so he couldn't have been offside. He was the big difference today as much as you all hate him. He never stopped running and showed some great skill at times. It's about time he started playing like that again as he's been poor this season. Over all it was a close game and could have gone either way. Personally I felt you lacked a cutting edge which I expect normally comes from Wells. You looked a decent side though and have improved a lot over the last 2 seasons and I don't think many sides will enjoy playing against you. Dronny, every key contentious match decision is going your way against us at the moment such as the ball blasted point blank at our place for your penalty (when we had battered you for large parts of the match). I think if your Club were on the consistent receiving end of the same decisions, your post would be somewhat different. Easy though isn't it when the key decisions are always going in your favour. Watch that game again mate (Huddersfield v Wednesday at yours) you never battered us pal we just knew your tactics and stopped you playing and comfortabley dealt with you on the day . Also if you raise your hands in the box and you touch the ball you risk it being a penalty ...get over it lad.

I agree Joe, it's the officials we need to worry about not the opposition. Leeds United are way better than Wednesday and would want to avoid them in the play-offs if possible (if we get there which I expect we will). Wednesday are a bought team and as such lack heart. We tend to beat those sides.. LOL did I just read that right ?

I was trying to be nice! Even tho your chairman is paying for your tickets you still couldn't make any noise! Shit plastic stadium! Shit atmosphere today! Sheffield is the 4th largest city in England with a population of well over half a million, Huddersfield is the 11th largest Town with less than a 3rd of Sheffields population yet you only averaged 22,000 last season. We are getting nearly that thus season. Yes its got alot to do with cheap tickets, but even if we were getting 13,000 thats still more people per person coming to watch us, even if you half the population of Sheffield to consider the fact their are two clubs. Wednesday brought over 40k to wembley. Two teams in this city that get over 20k, actually our crowds this year have been over 25k. If we had ticket prices like you have we would get well over 30k every week, your point is weak.

Funny thing is if by some miracle that he ended up playing for Hudd you would all be wking over him.
As for someone saying we only play good with him in our squad, sorry no we dont, whilst we al think hes a quality player, Wednesday most certainly arent a one man team.
Thank you for the points though, your bubble went pop today and you could hear a pin drop at the mac, galph, John whatever....

From a Wednesday point of view the lad Van la Peera sp? looked lively and I can see why you've had a decent start with him, but I was actually expecting much more, our defenders were rarely troubled and for large spells we just let you have possession for you to ASK us questions....but you never did.
Forestieri worked his butt off as did Hoops, it was a game for tactics and quite a good game of football.
Huddersfield will be up there (top 10) imo but it will depend of how your jan window ends up.
Good luck for the rest of the season.
Regards...Fernando ;-)

What goes around comes around. All these Massive defending an out and out cheat. Be interesting to see what they will say if they get done in the play-offs with a scandalous decision against them, where an opposing Player has done them with a ridiculous dive for a penalty or a free-kick that leads to a goal. I can only wish and live in the hope this happens. Another bitter post . Look we've had some seriously bad decisions go against us ironically it was when forestieri was sent off against hull when the whole country knew it waant. Yesterday I thought the ref did okay you targeted forestieri from the start and had to resort to chopping him down like so many do because they can't deal with him .he was motm and fittingly scored the winner and I'm glad he rammed the abuse he hot down your throats. Would you have him in your team ? Course you would .
