Not really, the way things were going we were heading for Administration, CO-OP would have got F all, so at least they got half, tbf fair play to them because some would of bit their nose of to spite their face.

How did Milan wipe out 30 million worth of debt. I know it won't be with his own money. We Owed the co-op bank a bulk of it, (who incidentally ere great throughout) Milan agreed a deal with them that if they wanted the debt paid in full they should shave some money off the debt, they agreed to shave 50% of it which for a company was outstanding, I suppose some money is better then none was their logic. Some previous board members needed paying off too, Dave Allen (ex chairman) who we owed something like 1m etc, so all in all Milan came and sorted the mess out, I was sceptical before he came but he's show he's a decent bloke. He might not be in it for the long haul but at least people can buy us again without any snags.

You can stand up at Hillsborough even when you come you will be able too, stewards here are generally okay, obviously if its only a few standing in the middle then they will be told if not by the fans lol, but no way will they get ejected, that's just wrong.

Maybe if they hadn't have been so frivolous with their spending on the likes of Sibon, Jonk, De Bilde and co they wouldn't be clinging on to the coat tails of 'big spending' Huddersfield and Charlton ? Spot on mate, totally concur, since the 1999/00 season (last season in Premiership) we have had nothing apart from a Play-off final win in L1 but even back in the Championship we had a bad chairman in Dave Allen and still a poor side. Then along came Milan, wiped out the 30m debt and started to turn things around financially the only problem and set back we had last year was Alan Irvine, Megson came and things have got better, Megson might have his critics but he knows his stuff.

This lot are so worried about us. Quote from Megson in the sheffield star about keeping players. ....We’re trying to hang on to the coat tails of the two big spenders in our division, Charlton and Huddersfield,” he said. : : You read the SS and you be belived it : :

Scoring again, he looks inevitable he will go to the Premiership in January, Newcastle being the latest link, question is.. who have you got to replace him? I don't really see Lee and Novak as replacements and this might undo you.
Thoughts?

Charlton were shite when we played them but we were too and it ended up 1-1, we started quiet slow but we seem to be improving week by week.
Just thought i'd let you all know.

Charlton fan in peace here lads.. Really looking forward to this, has the making of a top top game... (0-0 written all over it now) We like our passing, and can play the 'waiting game' if we need to wether the storm for 85 mins and then take our one chance at the end, much like we did today. Think it'll suit us more if you come at us, from what I've seen this season we love a counter attack. im predicting 3-2 to us, would love to create a nice gap and would be even happier if the wendys lost too. best of luck for the season, been down here for too long you lot tbh. Don't worry about us, we'll be okay, you just concentrate on bussing the Kent fans in on the freebies mr rent-a-fan club. Oh and if Hudderdfield beat you I reckon you will go on a bad run. Cheerio.

You're not in the centre block though are you? The ticket office can't explain why Wednesday are doing this they appear to be holding back tickets for other areas including parts of the upper rear as well, weird. This all sounds a bit bizarre. It doesn't matter anyhow as we'll sell out at least the top tier and probably the bottom one too. Mate, Kudos to ya if you do and I mean that, the weeks before Christmas is always a low turn out for obvious reasons but if you sell out and there is between 27-30k that's a fantastic turnout for both clubs.

Wednesday are saying the front 7 rows of the lower tier are being roped off. They are expecting 30000 there. What do we think the crowd will be? I'd be surprised if 30k turn up the week before Christmas but it will be a big ish crowd for L1 I'd say probably 26- 27k max

You can hear the crowd more in the lower from the upper if that makes any sense but for me i'd want to be in the upper as it's a much better vew, lower lepp is the worst view in the ground for me.

I got there 5 misn after kick-off last year due to the awful traffic on that single carridgeway that runs for miloes and got parked in the street right next to the turstiles. I would recommend coming off at Meadowhall if you are coming via the M1 (jct 34) as even with the shopping traffic it tends to be quicker. I'll never come off at 36 again, that's for sure. Halifax Road that leads down to Hillsborough is a nightmare.. If you are travelling from Hudds the best way is to go on the topside of penistone (passing through Shepley, High Flatts etc) through thurgoland and wortley, take a right (signposted) stocksbridge, then an immediate left onto woodhead road. This road will then take you through Grenoside and Fox Hill and will drop you at the bottom of Halifax Road near the ground. It will save you time and no speed cameras! Well only one just before you get to the traffic lights at Thurgoland. Spot on, you know your way around here pal It's quite hard to get this route if you havent done it before not many signs etc.

Disagree with that, I prefer to be in the cup then out, two weeks without a game is much more harmful for a team trying to keep up a promotion run then weeks without a game. Cracking. Hope you win the FA Cup. Hope every cup game from now on includes extra time or a replay. Hey, never say never :celebrate:

If you look at the draw, All our promotion rivals have games they should win which means they could all progress further. More games and a cup run can certainly be a distraction, especially if they end up with plumb draws in the 3rd and beyond. Colchester away is hardly mouthwatering and not much reward for Swindon Disagree with that, I prefer to be in the cup then out, two weeks without a game is much more harmful for a team trying to keep up a promotion run then weeks without a game.

Milans case doesn't bother me one bit as we had nothing to do with it, he's not gonna go to jail over it and it will just probably be a fine or something - nothing to fear. Looking forward to your visit to Hillsborough, especially with that leaky defence, you have to admit even with a full strength side you still concede a lot of goals. I had it on good authourity from someone in the game that there is a very very serious chance of both Redknapp and Milan doing time for this tax evasion. The inland revenue believe tax evasion is rife in the game and need to make an example by taking down a big name. You heard it here first they will both be jailed.UTT. Dream on mucka.

Granted you had a weakened side but WHY? surely a good cup run is a moral boost? Your defence was a joke it has to be said, if that turns up at Hillsbro', you're in for a hiding. You play very narrow, or it seems you did today, Swindon over ran you everywhere, you made them look good, they were ordinary that's it. You guys have got some tough weeks ahead of you that's for sure, if you can come out on top after that then your as good as up, gonna be tough for you though especially after todays showing though. P.S no more piss taking regarding Stevenage lol. Id have waited till AFTER your game to type this ;D Well I didn't need to pal, we dominated the game against a potential banana skin with them riding high in L2, they didn't get a sniff apart from a soft pen given for hand ball. Maidenhead at home in round two : :
