This is one of the only sensible postings I have seen over DH Unless he has a massive rush of blood he is not going to write off the debt owed and hand over the training ground free of charge. Therefore as you quite correctly point out the debt owed to DH is most likely more than the value of the club. On this basis alone I simply don’t understand how anyone can knock DH as he has continued to invest in a club most likely fully aware the club cannot afford to pay him back without being forced into administration. I suspect the income generated from the sale of players would go someways to running the club for 12/18 months but that’s all. In my opinion if DH is not here Huddersfield Town are not here. But conversely, surely that means that every day the debt gets bigger and he's stuck with something that he doesn't seem to be very interested in anymore. Exactly and he still keeps funding us so what can people complain about as I said in my opinion no DH no Huddersfield Town so all these people who post such ridiculous comments need to understand the exact situation

Dean seemingly wants out but also wants all his money back. He’s not going to write any of it off so the new owner will need to clear those debts for him, and that’ll probably be more than the club is realistically worth to a buyer. Assuming that we sell o Brien and Toffolo and £10m is used to clear debts, how much would we still owe him? This is one of the only sensible postings I have seen over DH Unless he has a massive rush of blood he is not going to write off the debt owed and hand over the training ground free of charge. There is just the possibility that it is a bit of both motivations for DH. I think he’s proven that accumulating more money than he can ever spend in 10 lifetimes is more important than any of the club’s interests. The last comment above was Posted by a Green Eyed Monster

What do some people expect Dean has ploughed £40m into the club and still people accuse him of underhand dealing. He had two choices as far as I can see when he wanted less involvement. His first choice was to write off the £40m which he chose not to do. His second choice was to sell the club to someone who he thought he could work with and get his money back. Big Phil bit off more than he could chew and was unlucky that Covid destroyed his business. With insufficient funds generated on a day to day basis to keep the club solvent DH took over again. To all those who knock him what has he done wrong given the above facts?

Why do you post such drivel when you have absolutely no knowledge of the reason he has left. DH has saved the club from administration twice and to quote a politician you cannot keep pressing the reset button things have to be stabilised. Huddersfield Town will NEVER be an attractive proposition for an investor as it has little or no capacity to grow. Let’s stop writing utter rubbish and see what DS can do as a temporary or possible permanent replacement. You're the kind of fan Hoyle loves, happy to be finishing 4th bottom every season. Everyone agrees with you obviously, there are 100's of posts on here saying what you're saying on since the announcement of his departure. I don’t want to finish 4th bottom I would like them as every Town fan does to be in the premier league year after year but it will not happen. I first started watching Town in 1962 and since then we have been in the top League just 4 years so by your logic the constant failure over 56 years is DH fault as well. You from memory along with me wanted Carlos out in the first season now he is gone it’s DH fault. If we are honest mistakes where made by the Wagner team scouting absolute garbage players and DH made mistakes when he probably agreed to buying untried talent from Europe hoping to possibly cash in if they made it. Well they didn’t and we lost a fortune so given that it was only last year when the high salaries where removed from the books and also PH going bust it appears that you would have been happy for Town to go into administration and start this season with a 12 point deduction. Just open your eyes to reality and stop posting such utter rubbish.

Well well well, Huddersfield Town revert to type and show no ambition and coach leaves. I was no big fan of Corberan and found his style and football relentlessly dull to watch but given last season was a relative success given the squad, the man deserved a decent squad this season to try and go one step further but the club are clearly uninterested in success and allow Bromby to sign the players, if he has left because of that then the club deaervd all they get. As for Hoyle, the man is starting to turn poisonous to the club, his lack of ambition to drive the club forward, which is strange given his first tenure was fairly ambitious and successful, is worrying. His popularity must be at an all time low with the Town fans now and given the damage between the club and fans had been largely repaired, I see him becoming a very divisive figure amongst the fans now. Why do you post such drivel when you have absolutely no knowledge of the reason he has left. DH has saved the club from administration twice and to quote a politician you cannot keep pressing the reset button things have to be stabilised. Try Amersham or Chesham, book a driveway on just park if there are any left. Tube is 25 mins to Wembley 😄 I felt sure it was Amersham we parked at last time, but there was a car park on site, seem to recall it was rough ground. It might have been Chesham having just looked. It was a doddle though, and parking was either cheap as chips or free. Chesham looks to have a car park, £3 for the day on Sunday. Expect those stations will be popular this time, only saw a couple of Reading fans cars last time. Amersham takes you straight to Wembley on the tube and easy parking ( I lived in Reading for 36 years) and it’s the way I went. The only problem with any tube line or train line is getting out of Wembley as everyone is trying to get on a tube and it takes hours. We have booked someone’s drive through Just Park 8 mins walk from the ground so we are hoping to skip through the waiting masses and head for home after celebrating with the team.

It really is a sad state of affairs when decent fans can’t sit together without it ending in violence. I have followed Town for 60 years this year and I have sat in amongst the oppositions fans At Chelsea the night we stayed up at Newcastle when we won 2-1 at Cheltenham when we drew 1-1 ( P Abbott bless him) at Arsenal in the cup and Premier League even at Brentford when we won the semi final on pens. Apart from Arsenal when we equalised we never jumped up or caused problems. But that is not the point it’s quite ridiculous when people have to be segregated because of a few idiots.

Completely agree. I had minor surgery on my knee, didnt require crutches or anything after, but standing, especially still, was a big no. I asked 3 lads in front of me at Reading if they could sit down as I could not see and all i got was abuse. 'Take it you dont go away much' 'Who wants to sit at away games you bore' 'Liven up you grumpy twat' These are the remarks I got. I explained my situation to which the reply was. ' not our fault, we paid the same so we will do what we want' 'Deal with it, a true fan would make the pain worth it and stand' All this, because ticket office said they didnt know where abouts fans would be standing. TIP: Rather than asking them to sit down, ask them if they wouldn't mind changing seats. I've done this a few times and they've always obliged. I'm sure you asked very politely if they'd sit, but I've noticed that's usually not the case. "F*cking sit down" isn't always interpreted in the polite way it's meant NB, York Terrier I accept it should be possible to identify seats where you don't have to worry about not being able to sit, but no one should have had a problem sitting at Coventry. I moved to a seat where you could sit with an excellent view, and their were plenty of similar seats around me. At Coventry I moved and sat on the seats near the corner flag so I actually got to sit down and I noticed lots of others changed seats to sit in the same area. I think giving the first 6 or 7 rows is a good idea how hard would that be to implement? Not very I bet. Asking to swop would only work if no one was standing in front of the person you swapped with. At Boro in row mm or something 3 rows from the back I would have needed to swap 32 rows and that’s even if the front 6 where seating rows.

Like a good number of fans ( who went to Coventry) mostly elderly and family’s with young children I do not want to stand up and watch the game I have a bad leg and it’s not pleasant. When I purchased the tickets from the ticket office after the Barnsley game I asked for 3 tickets away from the middle of the goal only to be given 3 tickets in the centre row. The staff in the ticket office don’t help and don’t actually seem to care. How long would it take for someone in the ticket office to look at the layout and designate where possible a sitting area for fans.
Sue Beaumont was superb, always willing to help ( please come back Sue even though I know you can’t) but I think the club should take account of people’s requirement and create a seating area in the allocation of tickets received or ask the home club to designate an area.

I'd still love a couple of seats/benches from the Old Leeds Road stadium. Or anything else from it to be honest, but seating would be my number one choice. I was away in the military when it was all ripped down so missed taking a piece of my childhood with me. As I'm over in New York I would have to arrange shipping, but sure that can be handled. So if you've got one sitting in your garage gathering dust let me know. There’ll be some out there somewhere. I put out a similar call around 12 months ago and got a response from a really decent lad who had literally been moving them from house to house (or garage to garage) over a near 30 year period. There were probably half a dozen of them and they were in bits but everything was there albeit in an unloved state, he’d been planning on restoring them but never gotten around to it and was probably unlikely to so was ok letting them go (obviously I paid him). I have got as far as stripping back most of the original paintwork and repainting them a blue as close to the original as I could find (same with the legs using a specific metal paint) and cleaning the numbers and nameplates up which has brought them back to life. There is a bit of welding work to do and I then have to find a spot to put them in the garden but we’re talking into next year before that happens now. I have messaged before I have two seats in the Garage which I am in the process of tidying up they are in York if anyone is interested please send me your E Mail details and I will get in touch. I also have 4 framed shirts from games we sponsored.

Get at Luton from the off on Monday. Attack attack attack lol I think Hogg has to come back Russell has been poor the last 4 games and Russell and Holmes together does not work as both go missing for weeks not minutes. We want to win this game not draw or loose as this will put pressure on Luton and if we beat QPR we should only be one win off sealing a play off place.

I was at a party yesterday with a few like minded Town Fans and we where discussing what would happen if we did get promoted. I asked, apart from Lewis o’ Brien if anyone thought we had any other players who could do a job in the premier league. Only two gained a mention Thomas and Toffolo but these came from someone who had been drinking for a few hours and no one else agreed
This led to someone asking after our last attempt to survive in the Premier League without buying established players if we do go up how do we prevent getting thumped every game? Can anyone provide any inspiration?

We have done really well in the transfer market recently but a 3 year contract for Jordan appears to be something of a fools errand. He is just a shadow of the footballer we had all Those years ago no pace poor control and unfortunately brings virtually nothing to the team. Whatever happens this season we need to recruit two new forwards to replace Rhodes and FC who I guess will not be offered another contract.

I thought is aftermatch interview with Carlos was negative at best and bordering on being disrespectful just my opinion Not sure about disrespectful but it was certainly downbeat. Oggie swings with the wind and always has done in my opinion, when we are doing well it’s all Rose Tinted Glasses if we struggle it’s the wheels have come off. I don’t know if he is a real Town Fan at Heart but he certainly likes the sound of his own voice and appears to struggles with reasoned arguments and responses from others he disagrees with.

Easy equation. Sorba starts=Turton starts. Back 4. If sorba isn't playing in their half, he isn't playing. Holmes and koroma look better as subs. Sinani looks better from further away. All 3 would look better after a decent meal.. If we have to fight for the points to get in the play offs, Turton looks better for that and let's leave Sorba up the pitch with Ward. Lees and Pearson, Colville on the bench. 3 looking to mark one centre forward looks a mess. Let's get back to defending how we did before the last 10 against WBA. We lack pace, we need to move the ball quickly and run with it. Other than 10 minutes none of it happened. Has to be better defensively on Saturday, let the attack bit sort itself out. Can't go behind. Russell appears to be avoiding the flack and I thought he was shocking slow with his passing mostly turning attack into defence Millwall much the better team not afraid to go direct. Anyway let’s move on to Bournemouth

I know what you're saying but there is something in it. The levels of social violence can be correlated to the general feelings in a social group, when its not fair or biased or prejudiced. Its a fundamental trait of predator and prey mammals. Baboons whip each other into a frenzy before a ruck. Not sure how many baboons we have as supporters, but the hormone lead aggression is intrinsic throughout primates, with perhaps the only exception being Bonobos. I blame Boris for everything and that fat little ——— should be deported to Afghanistan and left there

When was the last time we got to the Quarter finals of a major cup competition? 71/72 we got to the Quarter Final (6th Round) of the FA Cup. Lost 3-1 away at Birmingham. That was the last time, I think. Semi Final in League cup over two legs against Arsenal I was off school with a cold but went to the return leg only for the teacher to see me there we lost first leg 3-2 Bob Mc Nab scored for them then Tony Leighton drew us level but we lost 3-1 at home I think it was about 68/69

I haven’t posted for a few months but I have to admit I find Carlos extremely frustrating, it appears we have been found out every team since Boro comes and floods the midfield and we get pushed further and further back and inevitably we concede. Either Carlos doesn’t see this or he is to stubborn to change his approach. it appears to me that Leeds have the same issues ( but with better players) and they are being picked off on a regular basis. IMO we are a very average Championship team in a very poor division and I am amazed that this current team is being compared to DW promotion winning side as they are absolutely miles away in terms of quality. I hope I am wrong but unless we spend some money on new players before Monday I don’t see us finishing any higher than 10th or 11th. Leeds have the same issues and are being picked off? We are 10 games unbeaten. We didn’t lose and have a nice home game coming up on Wednesday. Oh, and a 4th Round Cup tie on Saturday. Instead of focusing on the negatives it’s good to think of the positives sometimes. It’s just an opinion you must be one of the few who enjoys watching us control of our home games Coventry Swansea and Stoke. I don’t buy the rubbish that we are unable to maintain the work rate for the entire game as against Swansea we got back on top for the last 5 mins. I think CC does not want a big target man who can provide an out ball and the other managers have got wise so he adopts a defensive block when we are leading which he can’t do when we are drawing or behind, and personally as I said I find it frustrating to both understand and watch.

Seemed a good half time team talk by the Stoke manager as he found a way to stop town playing flowing football in all parts of the fieldi n the second half This seemed to force town back and only a matter of time before the opposition scores Seen the same thing happen in many a game this season mainly in the second half I haven’t posted for a few months but I have to admit I find Carlos extremely frustrating, it appears we have been found out every team since Boro comes and floods the midfield and we get pushed further and further back and inevitably we concede. Dont go!! I'm not paying 25 quid a pop to watch this garbage. If enough of us stay away the penny will drop with ALL concerned. To be frankly honest the club have been lucky to get the support they have had since relegation and the dross dished up since, so stop letting them make a mug of us all. We can all get behind effort even where there is lack of talent but the effort has to be directed and chanelled in the right way. It's not and it hasnt been for the last six or seven games now. I'll go again when the either club has been taken over or Carlos has departed and the team can make an acurate forward pass. I find that quite surprising from yourself, merely because of then fact you have been a fan for decades and will have watched them in then depths of div 4 at their lowest ebb, i admit its not a great watch at the mo but tbh im more of a 'win 1st entertainment 2nd' person. I like terrier park did not go yesterday and I have also been watching Town since 1962 I was not feeling that great so decided to watch on TV instead of going to the game. But to be honest my decision was an easy one as the quality of football at the moment is simply not worth watching. Also as you move into your later years you take a different view on life from when you where younger. I think we have a Manager who is out of his depth in the Championship and the passing back and sideways is just soul destroying and it sucks the life out of even the most enthusiastic fan.
