If it looks like relegation smells like relegation and feels like relegation ...then it probably is.
God knows we have flirted with it enough times. For the number of years we have been in this division, we should be mid table or play-offs most seasons.
At the root of it Hoyle is to blame for selling everything saleable season after season and replacing with cheap options. You reap what you sow .
A glimmer of hope there are still games left you say . like last night a point would have been a good one at Preston given their record over us but no lets concede 4 second half goals and add another drubbing to the collection . I cant see us capable of gaining more than a couple of draws from the remaing fixtures sadly.
The players are dross, the manager appears the same . The club is a joke . They dont deserve the fans they have got who have backed the club despite the vast majority of seasons been a shit show. Who else is actually angry with the club ? I said years ago i wasnt interested in breakfast clubs and bike rides etc, I wanted my club run correctly
Its all self inflicted and pretty much unforgiveable in my eyes given the incompetence of those running the club.
I urge everyone to vote with their feet and dont buy/renew a season ticket . Its the only way this club is going to take the message seriously.

How many years in League1 will it be this time ? We have actually got worse under the German. We don't even look dangerous now from a corner. Nothing to be optimistic about from that game at all utter shite. Were down now

The club deserves relegation?
Absolutely it does, but the fans dont. Despite the length of time in the division it never seems to have stabilised and grown. Its certainly flirted with it enough times to think that one time or another its going to happen. Its demonstrated a propencity to continually self harm in its decision making and shown a total lack of competence in player recruitment and retainment. And yet the fans have stuck by it .
I feel a bit sorry for Mr Nagle who has significantly invested and again in the Jan window in an attempt to stop the rot , but it seems he has put his faith in a couple of muppets to run the show. We are in March and those signings have made sod all of a positive impact. I think we have about 6 players who are true Championship Quality and the rest are squad players at best. A very sad state of affairs. Just when will this club wake up and realise the whole shabang isnt good enough from the product on the pitch to the boardroom ? Not just this season but for the majority in Championship
If we do get relegated and I realy hope we dont, none of us can say we dont deserve it . We have failed to learn by our previous mistakes. We have failed to recruit effective players especially a goal scorer for considerable seasons now, and with the exception of the fan base we have failed to grow. We have stagnated and risk paying the price.

He has to go for me. Winnable matches all drawn but we don't seem capable of rescuing a point from the more difficult games against the better opposition do we? NO COMPOSURE at the end to see the match out either. I think DM will get a reprieve though to the sheff weds game lose that and he's gone, but w all know it be a draw

It's not good enough and the sad thing is we have all been used to not good enough for too long. The club need to get the message and one way would be for no one to buy ir renew a season ticket until we have seen who we get in the transfer window and how much of the deadwood we clear out. It would send a very blunt message indeed

What a sad and sorry state of affairs we are in
I dont post much these days as my unhappiness with how things were been done over the years was mostly met with derision and comments like put your own money in .But... If this club was a human being it would have a whole team of social workers, psychiatrists and mediacl staff assigned to it for self neglect.
No matter what postion we have found ourseleves in, the PL,Championship with parachute payments or punching above our apparent weight in the Championship its never been good enough for the club who find reasons why they cant compete and a whole army of fans only too ready to beleieve the mantra. The truth is we have been run incompetently for years with short sightedness and a total lack of ambition
True ,last season gave me hope it looked like we had found the right blend at long last, the magic squaring of the circle , all be it without a prolific goal scorer , but of course weve managed to cock everything up since . I think relegation is nailed on and I wouldnt be surprised to see us drop to L2 the season after too.
I dont think I'll go again this season and neither will my two sons despite having ST's. Its garbage and it just makes me miserable or angry or both. Still little old Huddersfield the working class club will be happy again in L2 where its academy players can save the club ten bob on transfer fees.

Pearson injury is without doubt a blow but I'm far more concerned that despite the millions raised once again through the sale of players we have no new goal scorer / striker signed.
We have not had a prolific striker since JR left. I dont count Wells as he'd only convert one chance in 8

The timing of this, is in my mind leaving me no doubt that Carlos was faced with something new he hadn't agreed on The amount he'd get to spend The players already brought in The targets he wanted but not got It boils down to money it always does and the chairman who never built a team by constantly selling our best assets season after season after season. Hes made a major mistake letting Carlos walk and Luton Town outbid us again which could have had a namajor effect . I am so saddened that once again a chance yo progress has been tossed away because our multimillionaire owner wants to do it the cheap way . Time to go and sell the club DH ,you clearly don't love it the way the true fans do

Dont go!! I'm not paying 25 quid a pop to watch this garbage. If enough of us stay away the penny will drop with ALL concerned. To be frankly honest the club have been lucky to get the support they have had since relegation and the dross dished up since, so stop letting them make a mug of us all. We can all get behind effort even where there is lack of talent but the effort has to be directed and chanelled in the right way. It's not and it hasnt been for the last six or seven games now.
I'll go again when the either club has been taken over or Carlos has departed and the team can make an acurate forward pass.

It was laughable listening to Glennon trying to paper over the cracks on the radio post match. Carlos has to go !The football is DIRE sit back and hope to hit them on a break so long as its out wide and no one in support. The team and manager seem inacapable of learning from their mistakes and just roll out the same tactics which get us the same outcomes, ie. inviting constant pressure until we crack. We should have got Chris Wilder in but right now anyone with more than one tactic and will get stuck into the players for their lame arse displays

not happy with the football the tactics and around 50 % of the players we regular see. we don't learn from mistakes, Carlos certainly doesn't and id rather put 25 quid to better use than be bored or frustrated .

He needs to go. Where was the reaction to the Forrest no show? His team selection leaves us toothless time n again and his use of subs is crap too. It doesn't help that we don't have a striker who is a goal scorer but they cost money so jo chance of that.

I thought I'd let the dust settle before putting my insightful opinion. The matchday programme stated what would happen if we were not at it from Phil and Carlos I think so its not like they weren't aware but I can't think of one positive to take from that game at all. We had no energy , no pace , no passages of play where we threatened . I'm not paying 25 quid to watch us pass it in our own half over and over again or pass it out from the back and give another goal away How many times is that now ? . Maybe we had no idea how forest would set up and we were not properly prepared...fair enough in that case as the home team play your own game to your . own strengths . Dire doesn't do it justice !!

I dont feel sorry for him. But I dont think he should be abused. Aim that at Hoyle and Phil for letting a club that was in the Prem three seasons ago get into the position where we have to rely on this standard of player. EXACTLY !!

Was speaking to Devlin outside looks like OB and toff will be going. He didn't get Carlos team selection at all. Knows Schofield is weak link and intimated that this was highlighted last season , couldn't answer why not addressed except Nichols got covid. It looked to me like he is fed up and being undermined working with his hands tied. Questioned him on recruitment he stated that was up to the recruitment team and Josh had been here for a while and was working with bromby I kindly pointed out where the ongoing issue obviously is. That could explain Toffs 'Covid' absence and no attempt by he club to request a postponement. So lying to the fans too Bravo Town !, send em a washbag and they'll be happy. Whats next a sheet of bubble wrap on each seat to pop during the game ?

Firstly Im just so glad i didnt renew my season ticket to be served up the usual dross. From what i saw despite some bright passages of play we are totally uneqiped for this division from front to back. The buck stops with the deal HOYLE AND PHIL struck and the assest stripping and lack of investment compared to revenues received from parachute money and player sales.
It has been argued that the squad is stronger but weve played 3 games and failed to score in open play and conceeded 2 goals today to 10 men
I still cant understand what carlos is saying but i dont blame him entirely with the resources at his disposal.
However when you have an academy and a goalkeeping coach that turns out ryan schofield and gives him a professional contract you have to think that those behind the scenes are inept. He should be shown the door tonight end of ....a road cone could have been more effective !!

I don't if it's just me but until we had the Premier League years I don't remember ever having a conversation with someone where any of us would be waiting to see what happened in the transfer market before renewing a season ticket, you were either getting one or not depending on personal circumstances not potential signings. I didn't get one when I spent a year in Hamburg and I didn't get one while I had a seat in the press box for a few years, but this is the first time I've ever not been sure about whether or not I should renew. Well that was the " step chsnge" wasn't it? Financially sound for life ...the land of milk and honey. Relegation ..no matter the parschute money would see us competing.... MK Dons reserve keeper the latest acquisition so, so far we've signed a clogger a has been and a reserve, well whoppe do can hardly wait

We used to run a sweepstake on how long it would take Pritchard before he was on his arse. Usually within a couple of minutes won. Totally underwhelming and like others have said even when he looked lively and involved it was all to very little effect. Seemed a good signing at the time and a showcase point that money doesn't always guarantee success I suppose. As for DH comments he was spot on and Pritchard knows his stature and value has dropped hence the sour grapes

Its a funny old game isn't it? So we've re signed the guy that had his father knocking on DH's door apparently demanding the move to the much bigger and at the time ever do incredibly run Blackburn. We will have to wait snd see but if thats our marquee signing god help us

I listened to this yesterday. I remain not entirely convinced that lessons will be learned. He seemed to blame the bad results and poor displays on injuries alone and all this about stripping the club back because of people here who don't want to play in my eyes isn't quite true. The squad has been decimated to fund the repayments of the take over deal . Think about it Phil couldn't have become chairman and Dean get his money back without relegation. What would you think as a player if you heard that was the plan? I make no wonder so many players became disinterested. He made some good points but at the end of the day he's on a damage limitation exercise.

I think out of the fourty odd years watching us I could count the number of times I've not had a ST on one hand, but I refuse to buy into something with the faith that those running the club will not only get it right this time but end the wilful neglect. The neglect not to replace two decent strikers with a goalscorer. The neglect to have a capable and fit for purpose goalkeeper. People make mistakes..owners managers and players and thats fair enough but some of our pitiful performances are down purely to deliberate under investment and additionally I don't see that Carlos has learned anything at all. Despite a precarious league position a few weeks back we are still gifting goals from his style of play.
So unless something dramatic happens its a watch n wait attitude as I simply don't trust the club to do what us required and what is right.

More importantly at what point in the sales process will the club realise they've fucked up and they aren't going to get backed if they are not prepared to properly fund and build a team

You couldn't trust the judgement of anyone connected with running the club at the moment from the chairman and board to the manager and recruitment team they are all incompetent.
Carlos deserves the sack .the tippy tap stuff at the edge of our box yesterday was criminal as is the players inability to learn from mistakes and apply a bit of steel.
Club is like the weeds in your garden . The dandelion head you see is the players the style of play and the manager. All we keep doing is pulling that dandelions head off by sacking the manager but the roots remain. Phil or Dean with their lack of proper investment and know how, the recruitment team are all in the roots so that crappy old dandelion just grows again until the next manager is sacked.
We need a chairman with money and passion and desire for Huddersfield Town to be the best it can be . Who builds a team not asset strips it and pisses down our backs but tells us its raining. Things won't change until its all changed at the roots . More misery and shit embarrassing results lay ahead with this lot running the show. Inept is too good a word for them .

Phil should get himself on Dragons den and ask for some investment , would be brill to see the reactions of the dragons as he tries to explain where the money has gone.
Vote with your feetnext season and simply don't buy into a product and an ethos that is lacking in every possible way.
